p90x question

Hi there,
I'm trying to increase the lean muscle mass and definition in my upper body and to continue to lean out and define my lower body. I was thinking about hiring a personal trainer for a couple of months to shake things up a bit, but I noticed a lot of discussion about the p90x program. Would this program give me the components I need for my goals. I do not, however, have a pull-up bar or a place to put one - although I guess I could run outside and use the swingset to do pull-ups :)

Just looking for some thoughts about the program. Thanks!

Alicia

In my opinion. It addresses just the items you mention. I am on week 12 of 13 and have improved definition in my upper body and firmed up my lower body without bulking up.

I have a pull up bar but in a different room from where I workout, so I used resistance cords that come with a door attachment so you can do back work (they attache to the top of the door and you are on your knees pulling down). All the exercises are demonstrated with bands as well as weights.

I think it's a great program and Tony's funny!

I agree with the above poster then the X seems to be exactly the kind of program you need for the results you are after! It's an excellent program and I recommend it with out a second thought! I did it and got EXCELLENT results! It really changed my body!

It's a pricey program but waaaay cheaper then hiring a personal trainer!;)
