So I have KenpoX on tap for today and I am actually going to do it!:eek: LOL I am still under the weather and KenpoX is the lightest work out of my options. I will bag this week's run and take my required class at the gym on saturday when I go with DH (when I usually run long).

Classic/Phase 2/Week 5/Day 1

Yeah, I thought Core Syn was pretty hard too. I don't know when that comes back in my rotation and I hope not for a while.

Okay, nothing new for me today. I'm still TRYING to watch what I eat and have been doing fairly well. I'm looking forward to Phase 2 - I think (?). I've been feeling different things throughout my body lately that I'm not too happy about. The other day I woke up with a "twinge" in my neck that lasted a few days. I noticed that my knees are also twinging here and there. I've never had any problems before. My biggest concern is my coccyx (tail) bone doesn't feel right when I sit down. Years ago, I had surgery there because I had a pilonidal cyst and I havent had any problems since. I don't know....... I have to watch how I do some of Tony's moves.

None of these problems are too much of a big deal. Just little concerns, at least for now. I just never felt any of them before so I'm feeling a little nervous about them. I hope the X is not too much for me. I don't think I'll do any more rolls and stuff and I'm probably switching back to Cathe for abs. I especially need to watch this tail bone.

Alright, sorry for the rant. I didn't have anybody else to tell. Any one I might tell would tell me to lay off the exercise for now and I don't want to hear that. I have to be more careful........

Hi ladies. I come here, with my head hanging a bit. I've completely ditched Tony. lol. Just a slow and gradual ousting of his workouts. lol. I'm actually loaning the workout series out to a friend to try them, so I'm using THAT as my excuse! LOL

ANYWAY.....to whom do I owe Bryan Kest's Power Yoga DVD? My mind is completely drawing a blank. I know I promised somebody here the DVD, but for the life of me, I can't remember who!

Good morning Ladies!! (my version classic - phase 2 - week 5 day 2)

Well .. did the tricep/shoulder workout yesterday .. let's see my shoulder (delts) - my triceps and my lats are paining me today!! Not untolerable .. they are just letting me know that I worked the crap out of them!!!

Last night's class was plyo/core .. so abs are a bit sore too .. (I am a glutton for punishment)

Then I went home and painted my bathroom .. yes .. it hurt to lift my arms up to paint .. but I did it and it looks sooooo good! - althought now I think I want to paint the trim a different color .. always something!

My SIL called first thing to tell me that the ONLY thing on her body that did not hurt was her big toe! .. LOL}( }(

Think we are going to meet for lunch and do a short walk/run .. then tonight it is high step legs and back for me .. IF she can .. she said she won't make class tonight .. LOL}(

I have to deviate from the rotation today b/c of my class schedule .. so instead of Kenpo will do my own cardio .. tomorrow will do the bicep/back dvd .. :eek: .. have not done it .. will probably be just as sore as I am today in other areas .. LOL

Nancy .. the core synergy is probably ruff on your tailbone .. so be carefull .. my tail bone has been broken TWICE .. and some move still bother it .. modify!!!

hope those of you that are not feeling well get better .. I hate feeling bad ..

Morning everyone = had a bit of a hiatus there - came down with a cold, my throat still feels like sandpaper :(

Not sure what I will be up for - sitting straight up at my desk seems to zap the energy out of me.

This week is my recovery week and so far I have missed two days of workouts due to cold, but there is no way I could do them. Probably hitting the tylenol cold PM again tonight and going to bed....I feel just lousy!

Hope you all have great workouts - i envy you!!!
 
good morning, everyone!!!!!!

*sigh*..... it's wednesday.... so that means it was yogaX for me... i SO did NOT want to get out of bed.... yoga... BLEH....

but i got up.... and i did it....

last night i did one of the fitness spinervals after work.... didn't want to do that either... but i finished.... (at least tony didn't try to kill me this time!) i plan to do one of the short 30 minute time savers this evening... diesn't seem "worth it" to change and get all sweaty for a 30 minute workout... but i have other things i want to do and i'll do a longer one tomorrow evening.... (i just want to burn a few extra calories with only doing yoga this morning)

i have some doms from back and biceps yesterday.... they seem worse in my back than arms... but that could be cuz i use my back more so i feel it there more? i dunno?????

i ate good yesterday.... had a few too many calories when i counted up... but ALL was healthy and good for me! (however i'm already drooling over this weekend's cheat treat! since we are going to orange county to mountain bike.... we're stopping at tommy burgers on the way home... YEE HAW! the king of greasy, yummy chili cheese burgers and chili cheese fries... oh my..... i gained 5 pounds and 5% BF just writing about it!)

i really like core synergistics... i think it's a fun workout (even with all the pushups!

i'm looking forward to phase 3 when we can do the phase 1 weight work again!

Kenpo X is done! That really is a fun work out! I just can't grasp the star block segment for the life of me so I skip it! :p

oh i hate the star block segment... it seem so useless.... i mean i feel each of the individual block sets... but that star block... DUMB DUMB DUMB!

i LOVE the final punches series!!!!!!

more doms have set into my upper back/shoulder area... could be cuz i'm just sitting here at my desk at work!

Hello all

Kenpo done. Tomorrow is supposed to be stretch, but that would put Yoga on Saturday and there is no way I'm doing a 90 minute workout on Saturday! So, the dreaded Yoga workout again tomorrow for the second time this week. *sigh*

My clothes are feeling really loose this week so I'm pretty excited about doing my weight and measurements on Friday.

Running short on time tonight - still got a million things to do....
