Good Morning Xers!:)

CLASSIC/PHASE 1/WEEK 3/DAY 3

I stretched last night as promised but *STILL* have screamin' lat muscles! LOL

Today is Shoulders and Arms and ARX. No subbing for ARX today. Gotta just do it!}( I am subbing in Cathe core work once per week and I used my "free pass" from ARX on monday already! LOL :p

I got notification last night that my Baron Baptiste dvd shipped but I doubt it will be here in time for Thursday. Oh well. :-(

Hey Nancy! Speaking of which...have you ever tried www.deepdiscountdvd.com? They have a friggin' million yoga dvds and lots of them are dirt cheap! Plus you get FREE SHIPPING!!!!! I can't believe I didn't think of it sooner for you! DUH! LOL

Okay...my time is running short...gotta go!

I'll be back later to make sure you all are behaving yourselves!;)

Good morning Wendy! No more free passes, right? LOL Too funny.

Nancy-might you be interested in Bryan Kest's Power Yoga? PM me if you are. I'm trying to take it off my hands and off my crowded workout shelf! LOL

OK.........I am set. I have changed my plans yet AGAIN! LOL. Sometimes I crack myself up with how many times I change my mind on rotations, workouts, etc. I sat down yesterday and did some really hard thinking, while checking out my calendar. The time has come for me to start 'officially' training for my upcoming runs/races. My half marathon is at the end of April. So today marked Day 1 of training for these longer runs. I've got a few shorter races between today and the half as well. SO.....4 easy miles this morning, followed by bonus abs from B&G.

My thinking session last night made me realize a few things. One of which has been said many times to many people, including me! LOL. For whatever reason, I was just not in the mindset or in the mood to stick with the P90X rotation to the T. It started making me dread going to the basement. I needed to change that, because when my mood gets like that, then my attitude about everything starts to slip, like eating. It wasn't worth it to force myself. SO......I think that with the running schedule I will be maintaining, I'll be good to go for a while.

Let's see how long that lasts! LOL. Seriously, I know from past experience that having my running schedule in place, it was much easier for me to insert everything else that I want and NEED....like upper and lower body weights, abs, cross training, etc.

OK...sorry to babble.

Gayle

Gayle, thank you so much for your offer. I pm'd you.

Oh, please don't tell us that you won't be checking in here anymore as you're not following the rotation to a T.

Seriously, good luck with your running schedule. I give you a ton of credit.

Thanks again!

Nancy

Hey, Nancy. I got the email. I'll package it up and mail it by Friday. Promise.

AND NO.......I'm not ditching you guys! I'm still sticking with Tony's upper body. In fact, I'm headed to the basement for Chest & Back right now.

Gayle

Good morning, ladies!!

I am back after a two-day hiatus. I was traveling for work and realized I was just too beat up to deal with working out. So I started out my recovery week with an extra recovery day and skipping of the initial Yoga X. Yes, I know, I know, but I just couldn't bear facing it. As punishment, I will do the thing in its ENTIRETY later this week on the rotation. I also think I'm going to sub Kari Anderson's "Reach" for the stretch.

Today is Core Synergistics and I'm eager to get back on track. My eating sucked the last two days, so for me, it's all connected.

Anyway, hope you are all well and enjoying the rotation. It finally snowed here, although it's a pathetically small amount. My children are convinced the weatherman is working against them. lol

Morning ladies...

I am totally down in the dumps and furious to boot! My painting project turned disaster on me, due to one tiny foul up...

I used Ralph Lauren Suede finish - due to the weather condesation got onto an area around the window and bc it wasn't fully dried, it left a water mark. No big deal right?? WRONG!!! I tried to touch it up and it made it MUCH MUCH WORSE! NOw its really noticible. So I called Ralph Lauren Paints hotline and they tell me that there is no way to touch up an area, and I must re-do the WHOLE WALL~! x( x( x( Do they realize I spend ALOT of money and ALOT of time doing this dang project!!!!

I have no idea what to do - - makes me want to pull out my hair - that product should come with a warning label that YOU CANNOT DO TOUCHUPS! GRRRRRRRR

So anyways - - that was me venting....and last night was Chest and Back and tonight will be

Half of PlyoX and Shoulders/Arms one - I am plying a bit of catchup and figured I could do half of PlyoX tonight.....

Sighh anyways - back later.....

Hey, Reba. It's always something, isn't it? I say you write to them and complain. Complain. COMPLAIN! That's what Customer Service is all about right?

OK....Chest & Back done! I took one riser away from the high step for the workout. Although I saw a SMALL difference in how hard the pull ups were with decreasing the assist height, I FELT A HUGE difference in the difficulty of doing the push ups! LOL. Guess that one riser makes a difference!

today was Xstretch day for me.... i sooooo don't feel like i worked out when i only do a stretch (and i only burned a whopping 92 calories... yes... i wear my HRM for ALL my workouts... even weights!)

i WILL do another spineraval tonight just to burn some calories!

i kept on track last night with my healthy eating! (and of course all day at work i'll be good... no choice! lol!)

cute work out clothes are good for AT LEAST an additional 10-15 calories burned!

Reba, sorry to hear about the paint fiasco. That just stinks. I gave up on faux painting a few years ago and did everything over in lovely solid shades. :) Oh, and paid someone else to do the work. }( }( I really enjoy painting but it's a LOT OF WORK!!!!

Anyway, at least it's only one wall, right?

Marie

Your right, on the bright side of things its only one wall :) Thank goodness the other walls were not ruined - - (granted is on the wall with the lights, mirror, ect - ) but its only one wall.

I did complain to Ralph Lauren - they said to try using an artist brush one inch flat and dabble it back on. It might work - otherwise - repaint it - grrr

I am a girl who loves the SOLID colors too - this is actually a solid color, but from a distance it looks like suede - so it has texture when it goes on - lovely really, but obviously not good if you have a highly trafficed area, bc touchups are impossible.

Anyways - hope everyone has good workouts. I did my pushups half and half last night. I did five on my toes and then only five on my knees - trying to get to the all toes, but MAN IS IT HARD! I was totally fried by the end of Chest and Back last night -

Good evening ladies

Today was Biceps and Back with ARX

Wendy - I can see why you have subbed Cathe's core for one of the ARX's. Boy, does that ever get boring! I have ab ripper 200 that I might sub in at times too, because OMG - starting to dread it! I like the burn it gives but I know when he says every word.:-(

Gayle - Good luck with your training. Don't feel bad about switching up your workouts. It just has to work for you, so do what ya need to and don't feel guilty about it.;)

Marie - I got Yoga X staring me in the face for tomorrow. I see you're not a fan???:D Me neither, although I do think it is getting easier and I don't seem to be falling all over the place like I used to.

Reba - sorry to hear about your paint disaster. I got an email yesterday outlining all of the things WD-40 is good for. Hmmmmmm - well, it says it takes spray paint off vehicles that have been vandalized. Don't know if will help or not but if you have to start all over again anyways, it might be worth a shot.

Off to start a pile of laundry:7
