I don't currently feel any DOMS from y'day's work out but it could still be on the way!}(

I will figure out what lower body circuit I will do after work today...

DOUBLES/PHASE 1/WEEK 2/DAY 2

WOW - I'm on week two already, seems crazy, but I'm LOVIN' IT!!!

I have Plyometrics today, but I'm hoping to fit in a short run after work before Plyo. I will be starting my 1/2 training in a few weeks and thought it would be a good idea to get in a few short runs as soon as I can to get myself ready.

Ya know, I've noticed the cleaner I eat the less hungry I am. I've been eating very well lately and I'm just not hungry nor do I have that darn constant bloated feeling. ;-) (doing the happy dance). Maybe it all finally sunk in???? :eek:

Morning Ladies ..
(Phase 2 - Week 8 - another recovery week - my version Classic )

Ok .. have been away a while .. had a freaking stomach bug .. it has really messed my routine up .. the most exercise I got was running back and forth to the bathroom x( ...

.. and my appetite is insatiable .. guess b/c I lost so much thru the bug .. ?? .. I don't know but it is weird .. and I am NOT happy!!!x( x(

so my problem is .. my dang routine was blown to you know where and back last week and this weekend. Do I try to get the workouts i missed and skip recovery week .. or do I forget it .. stick w/the plan and do recovery week ??

aahhhhhhh .. OK .. yesterday I had to skip the lunch workout .. too weak .. but taught class .. and did a complete step/weight circuit class w/emphasis on weights ..

today .. I am thinking I will either do the tricep/chest workout I missed last week ... or skip it and do a short run .. OR .. do a light leg workout .. ??? I hate getting all screwed up!

b-4 the bug hit .. I weighed and I had lost the 2 pounds I had gained .. but I feel bigger .. how is that possible?? LOL .. my weight just never flucuates much .. and I have put on muslce all over .. lost in my hips and upper abdomen .. ?? .. guess we will see after this week?? Phase THREE begins next week .. WOW .. I can't belive it!!!:D

Ok .. sounds like all of you ladies are doing great on the eating . and the workouts .. keep up the good work .. and if you have any suggestions on how I need to make up the 3 days I lost thanks to the dang bug let me know!:7
 
Hi Ladies,

I will have to do core synergistics tonight since I simply didn't get up in time to do it this morning. I will be doing HIIT cardio at the rec ctr at lunch today.

Marcia-are you training for 1/2 marathon? Which one? The half marathon is my favorite distance. I think I've ran 5 of them.

Laura-Sorry to hear that you have been sick. Due to the nature of P90X, I would recommend that you try to get in the weight workouts you missed. If it sets you back a week, so what. It may only set you back a few days. My routine has been messed up several times but I usually try to get back on track and get all the weight workouts in.

Wendy-are you training for any special runs this year?

Hey girls -

Just came home from house-hunting with a friend. What a job that is! Yoga X on tap today - when I get to it. We'll see what I can do.

I'm in awe of anybody who can run, let alone who trains for marathons. I give you girls a lot of credit.

Laura - I'm glad you're feeling better. Like Diana said, I would pick up where I left off. I'm in week 7 but should probably be in week 8 because of a few times I couldn't exercise. I felt too guilty leaving anything out.

BC lower body only premix (yes, double lower body again!}( )
Yoga X: 1st 30 mins...Aaaaah!:)

Hey. Okay, I'm back for personals and then it's off to make a cup of decaf and sit down with my PT manual for a while...DH is working O/T tonight and DS is sleeping. :)

Marcia: You sound like me when you talk about the X! I am so happy that you love it too. I think it's totally awesome!}(

Laura: Sorry about the stomach bug. It's makin' it's rounds. That's for sure! My DS had it over Christmas, as well as my DH and several other members of our families over the following days. Sooo many people were sick! It's a wonder I never got it! (knocks on wood!!!)

Diana: Hey there. I was going to train to run a half in the fall but I'm thinking I'm not ready yet. Just not mentally there and ready to commit to that yet...maybe a half for the earlier part of 2008?? I'm sure I'll run some shorter races over the spring and summer but nothing in particular at this point. I hope you got core syn in tonight!

Nancy: House hunting is alot of work but it can be fun too. I know I enjoyed it. It was the process of actually BUYING the house we chose that was AWFUL! Soooo many fights! UGH!:-( Running is like anything else...you have to work your way up to it. Don't do too much too fast. If you put your mind to it, you can do anything!:)

Wendy - no DOMS? I had major DOMS from C&B yesterday and also had abdominal DOMS with arx too. That is so weird how some days there's no DOMS and other - Major DOMS}( Man, I just did not want to get out of bed - LOL

Marcia - Congrats to you on your eating. I love your enthusiasm. The changes are soooo exciting at the beginning. They're pretty cool at the end too.;-)

Laura - Don't sweat it! You'll get back into it as soon as your body will let you. I think you should just do what you feel like doing. If you don't feel strong enough to get right back into the X, then maybe just gradually get back into it. If it was me, and I felt strong enough, I think I would just repeat the week I missed and keep trudging on.....

Diana - I like Core Syn - it's been a while since I've done it, but I will definitely be doing it again soon after the X is finished in 2 weeks. It's a tough one but it also has some neat new moves.

Nancy - find any houses you liked? Maybe one with a nice big workout room??:D
