P90X January Starters, Sunday

Hey Xers!

By the time I got home last night I was wiped. I basically went straight to bed. I never got back on the computer at all.

I'm hitting the gym with DH this morning. It's a long run and yoga for me today. I'll probably do the yoga in the evening though.

I have DOMS in my butt from L&B! I felt it yesterday and it wasn't fun to take a 2-3 hour ride in the car with it either! LOL I am hoping the run will work out the kinks a bit...

I'll have to wait until the beginning of March to see if they charge me the membership fee since I missed the class. Someone mentioned membership rules of the gym...it's actually isn't a rule of membership...it's a rule for employees of the gym who want a free membership. I love the gym actually...I just think as an employee I should be entitled to a free membership w/o any strings attached. Oh well.

Okay, off to get more coffee and let my dog in the house.

I did Kenpo X yesterday and my upper body has some major DOMS }( }( I LOVE IT!!! My biceps have not had DOMS like this in forever!! I'm just lovin' this system.

Today is a scheduled rest, I will see what the weather is like, I might get in a quick short run. I have a bad itch to get running now that the weather is above zero.

Did Kenpo yesterday and rest is today as well as the Daytona 500!

I have to admit, I'm starting to stress about what I'm gonna do after the X. I'm getting kinda bored with it but have gotton fantastic results. I REALLY am ready for something else but I'm gonna kick myself if I don't get the results. Ugh! It's starting to drive me nuts.x( I guess I just need to stick with my plan, finish these last 2 weeks, and then blend Cathe with P90X. I'll be so glad to skip the yoga and kenpo. I sooooo want to substitute now but I promised myself to do the program as written.

Is anyone familiar with the P90 Master series? Would it be worth purchasing that set to integrate with the X? I have decided to switch the arx with ar200. I have the P90 set on tape.

Hello X'ers,

well yesterday i never got a chance to do C & B, or workout at all for that matter:-( .

so today i did C & b. now i am trying to see if i can fit in plyox today so i will be caught up or have to wait another day....ARGHHHH.

later on this afternoon i am going to the gym for 2 cert class (CEU's) step choreography and lean muscle.

angie- i have masters and i think after doing X, (IMO) masters will be waaay too easy.

wendy- glad to hear you had fun last night. so sorry for your sister doing all that hard work to have folks cancel. i just hate when that happens.

marcia- soooooooo very glad to hear you are just loving tony!!

Hey Everybody -

Did Plyo this morning and really felt it. I do modify the jumps but I did more than I usually do. I was a wet mess when done.

I'm going out to dinner - again. It seems that's all we do lately. I guess it's the winter-time "get out of the house" thing to do. We're going to Hoboken, New Jersey which sits directly across from NYC so the view is great! I'll try to be careful with "clean eating" and avoid the Italian bread that will hit the table first.

I am also thinking of what I'll do when the X is over. I'm in my 7th week now. Wow, time sure does fly!!!! I guess I'll do the Gym Styles and Slow and Heavy with two days of cardio and one of Yoga. I'm looking forward to doing Cathe again. I really do love Tony though.

Hello gals.

I ran 3.7 miles on the TM this afternnon. I was hoping to get yoga in today but I don't think that is going to happen. DS is at nanny's house so DH and I are going out for the evening. :)

Nancy & Angie: I am with on the hemming and hawing over what to do post X and I'm just half way through it! LOL I was thinking of doing something along the lines of what Nancy mentioned...setting up a faux X rotation just utilizing different work outs. I would probably do heavy weight training 3 days per week at the gym with DH and then do 2-3 cardios and 1 yoga like the X does. I could actually try doing doubles because I could do 30 mins of weights and then 30 mins of cardio at the gym in one visit 3x per week and then do the other 2 cardios on separate days...Hmmmm...I think I'm on to something here! }( }( }(

Okay, well I have to get showered. DH and I are going out to dinner as well. I'm not sure what we will do afterwards but we'll think of something...
