P90X January Starters, Monday!!!

Hey Xers!

CLASSIC/PHASE 2/WEEK 7/DAY 1

So it's the start of a new week for me which means Chest, Shoulders and Triceps/ARX! My goodness, I can't believe I hit another recovery week next week and then Phase 2 is done! WOW! :)

I was unable to get Yoga in y'day. I'd really like to make it up if I can before Thursday comes around and I'm doing it anyway...maybe tonight I can sneak it in...We'll see!

I've been eating poorly during phase 2. Lots of cheater days and nights. I still like what I see in the mirror but I am afraid I will be unhappy with my measurements at the end of this phase but I guess I'll have to take my lumps as I did it to myself right? I am going to be GOOD for phase 3! HAVE TO BE! I can't let all of my hard work go down the drain! :eek:

Okay, well I'm done complaining!

Classic/week 3

Good Morning X'ers,

Wendy- i have been eating poorly all last week alsox( i got on the scale this morning and am very disappointed with myself. you will have an awesome Phase 3. you are already doing so well.

today's workout was S & A but i have DOMS from yesterday's C & B so i am thinking of switching my workouts around a bit this week.

I have yet to get in a yoga workout. next week is supposed to be my recovery week but with my upcoming cruise i don't think i will take a recovery week.

Good Morning :)

Well this week is an ODD week for me - I AM GOING SKIING in CO for three days :) Vacation finally!!!!

So I have three days of workouts - I think I am doing Chest/Shoulders/Triceps/ARX and CTX Kickbox - - MONDAY
Back and Biceps & CTX cardio of choice
Yoga
Thursday - travel all day long, get ski rentals, ect
Friday - SKI!!
Saturday - SKI!!
Sunday - SKI!!

and then I will probably rest on next Monday and then finish out the next week with all the workouts I missed plus yoga and then go into recovery week the following - I think that is what will work???

Hope everyone has a great week, I won't be posting much as I will be on VACATION!!! Can ya tell I need it ;)

Reba: Have fun on your mini vacation to CO! Skiing will definitely give you a great workout! ENJOY!!! You deserve it.

Sunny/Wendy: Get that eating under control, girls, you KNOW that's 80% of great results!!! }( (tuff love for ya ;-) ) I feel so much better now that I have my eating under control for the most part. Still a few treats, but nothing even close to the way I was eating before. I 'thought' I was eating good, but apparently not because I can tell the difference HUGE!

I just finished C&B, WOW, fried again and I was still feeling my biceps from Kenpo :p . Oh well - results are on the way, I can just feel it! :) :) I have step class tonight, so two workouts today - LOVE IT!!!!

I'll be back later - have some great workouts!

Hi Girls -

I'm home this week for mid-winter recess in NYC schools. I wish it was warmer out and can actually do something. Two years ago we went to Disney at this time. I love Disney.

Okay, Back & Biceps is done. I like this workout too. (I think I say I like them all). I think the only one I didn't like was Core synergistics and that may have been the one that hurt my tailbone. I'm not doing it in recovery week and I don't know what I'll substitute for it.

Marcia - I'm glad you're getting your eating under control. I'm trying to do the same. I'm always trying..... I'm reading "Clean Eating" now and I realize that there's so much about eating clean that I don't know. Mainly.....eat more protein. I eat way too many carbs. I can't help it...I love them.

I'm with you Wendy. I don't think I'll see much change in numbers in Phase 2. I'll just keep plugging away.

Hi Ladies,

I've been so busy during the weekends-I just want a relaxing weekend soon. Saturday I did GS legs. I wanted to do a cardio but had a baby shower to go to. I spent all day yesterday working on my taxes and 2 of my kids taxes, so no workout for me. This is supposed to be a recovery week, but I did Body Max, cardio & circuits this morning.

I have to weigh in at weight watchers today and am not sure what to expect. My eating was OK, not great but not too bad either. I wasn't able to get in as much cardio last week as I would've liked.

I'm also liking what I see in the mirror. My motivation seems to come and go quite a bit. I feel really motivated after a workout-it's just getting started everyday that's hard.

I'm going back to read the weekend posts that I missed.

Good luck at weigh-in Diana!! I have my weigh-in on Wednesday, I'm excited because I've been really good, but the scale at home hasn't budged so I am not sure what to expect.

Thanks Marcia. Well I was only down 1/2 a pound today-which is pretty normal for me. At least the scale is moving in the right direction! My first week my weight stayed the same.

Good luck to you also. Just do the best you can each day and the weight will come off. Keep up the good work.

CS&T/ARX is done but no yoga...perhaps tmrw.

I was not able to complete as many reps on some of the exercises today. I guess I didn't eat enough. :-(

Tomorrow I'll be doing another l/b circuit like I did last week. That was a great compromise between the cardio I crave and the leg work I need w/o over-doing either. I just have to decide WHICH ONE and we all know how trying THAT can be! LOL :p

So I am hoping to get in some reading of my PT manual once DS goes to bed tonight. I haven't been reading too much lately...I need to get movin' so I'm not in a panic to finish later!:eek: I am tired though so we'll see what happens...

Boy this forum seems to be getting smaller and smaller.:(

I'm with you all on the bad eating. I actually didn't do soooo bad on the eating per-se - it was the drinking}( I think I celebrated Mardi Gras early;-) DH and I sat and watched the race and I had wayyyyy to many beers - which is really not that much for me since I don't drink very often. But then I just got too lazy to make dinner and we ordered out for pizza and breadsticks. I haven't done that in a really long time either and well.....heck the Daytona 500 only comes along once a year. Oh well, such is life. I'll be good until Friday and hopefully the scale will be nice in 5 days......

I did C&B with arx today. It's really hard for me to add any pullups at this point. But, my arms are fried and I'm totally out of breath when I'm done, so I guess as long as I keep bringin it, I'll still get results.
