Good Morning Peeps!

I hope we have more of a showing here today then we did yesterday, Cathy!:7

Cathy and I had a nice conversation in the thread y'day about anything but fitness while all of you ladies were in hiding. LOL Didn't we, Cathy? :p

I have X Shoulders and Back/ARX on tap for this morning.

I went to the gym with DH y'day and was going to do shoulders, back, abs on the machines with him there. Well we went to the very first machine we were going to do and I immediately got aggravated and opted out of it! I don't know what it is but I HATE those machines! x( I keep trying to force myself to do them and maybe I'll learn to like them so that I have another option to change things up, plus then DH and I can *REALLY* work out together but I just hate it...WHY? I don't know. I just do. :-(

We had a blast on the boardwalk last night. My mom and bf got down here around 5:30 and we headed out. We live literally down the street from a small boardwalk that has a lot of children's rides on it. That's where we went. Joey had a blast going on all of the rides. He was very brave and went on alot more this time then he was willing to last time! My mom and DH tried to take him on the big merry go round. He was all for it until he actually go on it. Then he freaked. Oh well...he didn't want to go on the kiddie one last time either. I guess he doesn't like horses!:7 We had dinner there...I had a Corona and ate a fried fish sandwich and shared some fries with DH. :9 }( I drank a bottle of water after that to make myself feel better (LOL) and then got icecream!:9 :9 :9 We didn't get off the boardwalk until 9pm. By the time my mom left with Joey to go home it was like 9:30. DH and I opted out of the ride down to the other boardwalk we had planned to go to and headed locally for some miniature golf instead. It was fun. :)

K, I'm done with my incessant babble...it's someone else's turn now!:7

Hey Wendy~

Yep, it was a ghost town around here yesterday...But really, girls, deodorant's on and it's safe to join us today! :p :)

Wendy ~ glad everybody had a good time yesterday...I'd say that was some pretty good damage control for the boardwalk...I ordered a pizza for dinner last night...with, um, buffalo wings...and, uh, cheesy bread. (No, I didn't eat it all.)...sadly, your post made me hungry. *lol*

I did a B&G mishmosh (25 min.) followed by a 3.4 mile run. Later I'll probably do some abs.

Enjoy your Sunday, girls!

Hi Ladies,

I was even in the forum yesterday and forgot to post. Anyway, I did Cardio Fusion mix n match premix yesterday.

I went to donate blood and they couldn't take it because my blood pressure was too low, 86/58. I normally have low blood pressure, but not that low. She had me walk around a bit and checked again, it was 88/58. This only happened one other time-about 10 years ago. I'm a regular donor so I'll try again soon.

Jerod went to a Harry Potter Fest at the library Friday night. They played Quidditch, predictions for book 7 discussion, and geacaching for horcruxes. Jerod also won a free Harry Potter 7 book in a raffle drawing. We can pick up his copy at the library on Monday. We picked up our pre-ordered copy yesterday at borders. Jerod read yesterday for about 6 hours-he's a harry potter addict!

I picked up Get Ripped 1000 yesterday and hope to give it a try today. Any one else a Jari Love fan? I hurt my back last night getting up from the kitchen chair. Right now I'm sitting on a pillow on the chair and that seems to be helping a little.

Wendy-Glad to hear you had a fun family outing yesterday. Does your Gym have free weights as well as machines? I use machines sometimes because it allows me to lift so much heavier, and it hits the muscles differently than what I can do at home.

Cathy-must've been the night for unclean eating. We had ribeye steaks and they were delicious! I also ate a giant chocolate chip cookie. I'm sure your B&G mishmosh and running worked off the pizza and buffalo wings.

Laura-are you fishing this weekend???

Angie-Let us know how your camping trip went. Hope it was fun.

Nancy-Touring wine country-enjoy a few glasses wine for the rest of us.

Diana :: *lol* about being here and forgetting to post. I think I'v done that...Any idea what causes the low BP?...That's great that Jerod won an HP book, and that he is so into it. I cracked up when I saw that they were "geacaching for horcruxes." No idea what that means! (I know--I am one of the few people on the planet not caught up in the craze.) Hope your back feels better - maybe try a little moist heat?...I wouldn't say I'm a big fan of Jari's (I find her a little annoying), but I do think the workouts are good. I just don't reach for them often, probably b/c I have too many other choices. I did add her into my next rotation once or twice, though.

Hi Cathy,

LOL regarding geocaching for horcruxes...I had to ask DH what that was. It's basically following some kind of map to find treasures or treats in Jerod's case.

Well I only burned 381 cals doing Ripped 1000 which supposedly burns up to 1000 per workout. Then I did KPC and that w/o really seemed to help my back a lot and i burned 567 calories! It is feeling much better.

Diana

Wow - that's what I need to start doin - burnin' a 1,000 calories a day. Great workout! Glad your back's better. And thanks for the explanation of geocaching. :)

Hi girls

I'm back and now I'm all caught up on what you girls have been up to all weekend. LOL! We had another perfect weather weekend for camping. The boys brought a friend along and both of my boys were trying to impress this kid all weekend, ie: they were acting stupid and driving me nuts!:D But, the little angels are in bed now.:) I ate and drank horribly all weekend and somehow managed to mess up my shoulder. It started aching before we even left for camp, like I slept on it wrong. It feels like it just need to snap back into place and then it'll be OK, but it has been hurting for a couple of days now and after reading about rotator cuff injuries, it sounds exactly like what it is. But, I have no idea how it happened.;( I hope it heals up on it's own but I'm a little concerned. I'm thinking about making an appt. with the chiro to see if he can help out. It's like I have a dead spot in the muscle when I try to lift over my head. I literally have to help my arm up with my other arm. Urg!

Wendy - Sounds like you had a nice relaxing weekend. Sorry to be MIA this weekend. LOL! Ummmm...ya, I did sleep in A LOT!;-)

Cathy - I laughed about the pizza and bread and cheese sticks. I ordered that mess on Friday night and again tonight b/c we had company that came over to pick up their kid and they hadn't eaten either, so it was pizza again. Plus, I have leftovers in the frig.}( My body isn't gonna know what to do with the veges tomorrow.x(
Sounds like you had a great answer to the poster yesterday asking about the X. It's definitly a program worth the $$.

Laura - Glad to hear you had a quiet and uneventful weekend. Still chuckling about the stability ball going thru the door.:7 That wouldv'e been a hoot!

Diana - I hope your back is doing better. Sounds like you had an extraordinary w/o yesterday. Pretty impressive doing that with an injury! I would have to laugh at myself right now - there's no way I could do an overhead shoulder press without knocking myself out. Glad I'm still in my LB rotation.
There's more Jari Love workouts on deepdiscount.com for $8.29 I think. If you want to try a different one, you can check them out there, but I'm thinking you may not exactly be a fan. I've not tried her w/o yet.

Catch up with you all tomorrow

Angie
