P90X Coupons

I really want to order this workout program and was wondering how/where you get the coupon codes for discounts on the price. I see on another post that there is a coupon that gives 20% off but I don't know how long the coupon is good for. Does BB offer discounts periodically and if so, how do you find out about it.

My problem is I'm recovering from surgery for a torn rotator cuff so I'm really limited on upper body work. It may be a couple more months before I can do push ups, pull ups & certain shoulder work.

I'd be willing to buy it now to get the 20% off but I wouldn't be able to start it for a few months without major modifications. I don't want to miss out on a good deal but if they continiously offer discounts, maybe I can wait and still get a good deal in a couple months?

What do you P90X'ers think? Get it now and modify or wait until I'm 100%. Thanks for your help!

Me too! Johnswife, can you help us? I saw your extra 10% coupon expires today! Please reply if you can.

Thanks!

Nancy

The 10% expires today but you can get a 15% rebate through www.ebates.com. The promo code SERTROM2 does not have an expiration date.

The following is a link with the 10% discount...

http://www.beachbody.com/jump.jsp?itemID=63&itemType=GATEWAY

Here's how to do it...

Click on any of the link above. This will open another window, go to P90X, click on "yes I want to try it" & the cost should be $89.xx.

Then if you have an ebates account, you will need to go to that site.

In the ebates search box, type "beachbody."d the "beachbody" link on ebates.

Click on that. That should open a 3rd window.

Go to P90X.

Click on "yes I want to try it." The cost should show as $89.10.

Then in the "Promo Code" box at the bottom of the order, type in SERTROM2.

Click recalculate. The cost should drop to $79.20 before shipping.

Your on your own from there! Best of luck to you!

I paid what you paid.... Once you have the kit in your hands you will never think twice about it! It is a bargain at 118.....

Imagine how disappointed I am--I just ordered on 1 Oct & I paid $155. I did get the ebates.com rebate but still, $118 is a lot better than #$155!

I'm glad to be able to save anyone some money.

SO true Laura
I paid what you paid.... Once you have the kit in your hands you will never think twice about it!

I paid a lot more than that and it was the best workout purchase I've ever made - and I go tback to the Firm in 89. So that means a lot!!

Laura you will DEFINETELY get the results!

Can someone explain the ebates thing to me? I told DH there was lots of buzz about P90X and he told me to order it if I want it. LOVE him!!!

ETA: Never mind. I just signed up. But I clicked on the link for the 10% discount through BB and it came up at $99 not $89. Is the 10% off over? :(

Thank you so much.. it worked. I wanted to purchase this but was waiting for it to go on sale. At first it showed 99.00 but I just followed through and I ended up getting it for the 79.xx.

Again thanks so much

If you use the promo code SERTROM2 is comes up to 79.20 plus 19.95 shipping for a total of $99.15. I just tried it and it works.

I just ordered it now, at the discounted rate suggested here today. I can't use it for several months yet, but so what? I'll be glad later that i got them now at cheaper rate.

Clare

Okay..........you talked me into it!!! I ordered too! $99.15 it is. One question.....do you think these workouts are as hard, harder, or easier than Cathe? (or is it strictly what you make them)

I didn't order the chin/pull-up bar as I'm not sure I'd ever build up to that. Is there a substitution for these moves?

What about his recovery drinks? I didn't order these either. What does everybody use?

Okay, so it was more than one question, lol. Thanks for you help!! I'm really excited and can't wait to tell my daughters as at least one of them has been hinting for them for a while. (Maybe I'll let her buy the bar.)

Thanks again!

Nancy

Nancy, you can modify the pull-ups using bands. And you can do assisted pull-ups. That's what I do. I can only do one or two chin-ups unassisted and have only managed one wide grip overhand pull-up, but man you feel it in your back even using assistance (I use a stool).

I didn't order recovery drinks either. I just use my regular protein shakes.

Let's see - comparing to Cathe, I'm going to say that the weight work is harder, because you go as heavy as you can. And it's intense. Plyo X is a TOUGH cardio workout with very basic moves - tons of leaping and jumping and tuck jumps. Kenpo is very different because you don't really do any combos, just lots of kicking and punching drills. Cardio X is good for a light day. You know, it's hard to compare because it's SO different. I love my Cathe workouts so much, but I also love this.

Oh heck, let's face it. I just love the pain.}(

I have a different take on whether these are harder than Cathe. I feel like its comparing apples to oranges. Cathe sets the number of reps & you chose a weight that you feel will get you through that exercise. Tony tells you that you will do X exercise for X amount of time. You chose the weight & the number of reps you will do in that time. So on the one hand it is easier but on the other hand it is harder.

Get a bar...check out Dick's Sporting Goods, Play it Again Sports, or Sports Authority. Heck, maybe even Wal-Mart, KMart, or Target. They might have it cheaper. You won't be sorry.
