P90X+ clips are here.......

These definitely look hard and awesome. I think the child's play one would definitely be cardio, too. Did anyone notice the sign in the background? NOT AN EXIT - I couldn't help but laugh about that - because those two had no way to get out!

When will these be available?

Eeeks! Is anyone else really scared of the "L" pull ups? Boy do I have some work to do to get ready for these:eek:

Two questions:

1. If I've never done a P90X workout, would it be smart to start with earlier videos BEFORE purchasing P90X+?

2. I can't get the clips to work - does Tony use 'normal' at-home equipment; i.e.: dumbbells, barbell, step?

Thanks.

Marcia

If you can get through Cathe's workouts, I'd say you could get started with P90X. There is a fit test that comes with the X to see if you are ready to start. Yes, Tony uses normal equipment, basically dumbbells, a yoga sticky mat, a chair and a pull-up bar. Instead of the pull-up bar, you can use resistance bands. You can use push-up bars, but they aren't necessary. You don't need a step. The only cardio workouts are Kenpo X and Plyo X which don't require a step.

Wow, thanks for your informative post, Marcy.

I'm thinking of ordering these. I'd like a pull-up bar, but the entrance to my workout room is a pair of French doors. Oh well, as you said, I can use resistance bands.

Thanks again. :)

My dh made me a pull-up bar in the garage. I have to run up the staris & out to the garage for each set, but I figure it's just a little extra cardio. ;-) I dohn't have any place for a pull-up bar where I workout downstairs so it works fine for me. I have heard that the bands work really well though.

Good luck if you decide to order it, it's well worth it!
