p90x and Turbo Jam

Hey, I'm just wondering for those of you who have these workouts, which are the MUST have workouts? I'm not in the market for buying a whole series right now , but am interested in some of the things I've read about these workouts here on the boards. I guess I would mostly be looking for upperbody workouts,Cardio, and maybe core work. I love step, but am not much on hi/lo , and I have never been a huge fan of kickboxing but since KPC & cardio kicks , I do like it better.
Any suggestions??
Thank you!:)

I don't have Turbo Jam (and it doesn't appeal to me), but I LOVE P90X.

As for "must have" workouts:
the upper body workouts are superb (escpecially "SHoulders and arms," which, if you don't want to do all the push-ups and pull-ups in the chest/back workout, you could pair with Cathe's S&H chest/back).

Core synergistics and plyo X are rather unique workouts, and I would say they are two more "must haves".

The ab workout comes on all the weight workout DVD's as a bonus, so there's no need to get that separately. It is very effective, IMO.

P90X Kickboxing is less intense than KPC and Cardio Kicks (and meant to be that way, to fit into the P90X system, which stresses resistance work, with just enough cardio for fitness, but not so much that it burns calories you want to go to muscle and strengthh building).

I have the entire P90X series but must admit that I haven't worked a rotation into my fitness regime yet. However, I do Ab RipperX one of the three or four times a week I work core. It's awesome and it delivers results you can see in as little 10 workouts. Oops, that's the FIRM's line. Well, Ab RipperX is very effective. In fact I LOVE IT!

When I did a P90X rotation, I'd often "forget" to do Ab Ripper (some of us began calling it "ab skipper X," but I still had awesome core results (going from a "no pack" to a "two-pack"(of long vertical cans") with a hint of a four-pack starting (since abs are a place my body likes to store fat, that was good progress for me).

i read somewhere that someone just bought one dvd for the p90x, how can i do that? i just want the arm workouts since you all are bragging them up. i hop;e they will get me that cut in the delts i am working so hard to achieve and am not able to see yet. laura

I didn't know you could buy just a few of the videos of P90X??? I thought you had to buy the whole set. That's good to know, I'm going to check out their website today and see if I might be interested in some of the workouts to add to my collection. Now that I'm done Christmas shopping for everyone else, it's MY TURN!!!! :7

Take care,
Marcia.
