how long does it take to get thru the entire workouts. If you were to do the whole video.

We don't know.

Anyone who has attempted to do all three tapes in one shot of either Pure Strength or Slow and Heavy has not survived long enough to tell us.

Hi, I have done the entire PS series in one session--maybe 3-4x at the most. It takes about 21/2 hours. It's definitely possible, but I think it's not the best idea, because by the time you get to the last tape(for me it was the legs tape) I think fatigue prevents you from lifting as heavy as you should to gain strength. So I quit doing it for that reason. I can't speak for the S&H series, but I would think the same rule applies.

slow/heavy

Since each S/H tape is about an hour, I imagine it would take about 3 hours to do the entire series. I did chest/back and tri's/bi's back-to-back one morning (I was feeling particularly superwoman-ish that day). My form was suffering by the time I got to bi's. The chest routine alone is pretty demanding, and you have to utilize all of your upper-body muscles to get through it. So I was fatigued by the time I got to bi's. I'll never do more than one S/H tape per day again!

RE: slow/heavy

Like Marnie, I have done the Chest/Back and then Triceps/Biceps back to back. It's tiring, but sometimes it has been worth it. I would do it again in a pinch. But I would never do all three in a row! I have also done the two upper body PS tapes in a row. It's not too bad. In fact, I did it last weekend. I start with Back, then stop the tape, do Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps, and then put the other tape back in and finish with Biceps and Abs. It takes an hour and a half since I skip one of the warmups and one of the cooldowns. I think it's a great workout and is no longer than say, BodyMax.
