Out of Control American Idol

The last couple of times on American Idol, Last night especially, from the beginning to the end, there was no control at all.

I've noticed when the contestants got on stage to entertain us, they didn't even know which way to go on the stage, which caused them to sing off tune.....

When Diana Ross performed, she stood in the lit fogged door way, way to long, and sang off tune. And after words, took the mike from Brian's hands to talk about the contestants, when in fact it was all about her. She was really too full of herself.

After a commercial, the judges weren't in their seats, and the camera caught them in weird positions, like they were playing "Keep Away". Paula was caught sitting on someones lap.

When one of the contestants was voted off, he didn't even have time to sing his last song, all of a sudden, the show was over.

IMO, the director was asleep last night. It was so unprofessional.

These poor contestants,put a hold on their lives and spend time away from their families and jobs, be ridiculed, and what ever else, to make something of themselves. From watching last night show, it's like a joke. I felt so sorry for them.

I may be the only one that is glad Sanjaya is not leaving yet. Sorry, but I like his voice. Don't care about anything else. His voice is unique. Son is begging America to send him home though. Just begging! lol.

Paula is tacky and fake in my opinion anyways so it was not like I didn't expect her to sit on Simon's lap. :p

Can America please please send home Chris Sligh. I just do not care for him AT ALL. Between him and Phil, they both hurt my eyes. :eek:

Melinda is my favorite so far. I like Gina too, but I think Melinda just has the whole package and she is so likeable. She is just a natural.

And I like the two young hot guys, but I can't remember their names. lol...blondie and Justin Timberlake look-a-like.

I just tuned in for the last 5 minutes, to see who was getting the boot.
Doesn't sound like I missed much!
 
I'm sorry, but Diana Ross is scuuuury. This season is something else, let me tell ya.

I've only watched short bits of this show, so maybe my opinion is not fully informed, but I've seen enough on regular TV news shows and heard about it enough on the radio to hope that "AI" is finally going to go away after this season.
 
I thought that Dianna Ross was drunk! I really felt like when she came out onto the stage, she was swaying, and about ready to fall over!

this season isn't as good! I miss Chris, he was smoking! Melinda is very classy, and has talent!
 
Ann Marie, you are so right! I thought Diana Ross was going to fall off her platform heels. I was hoping there was someone in the background to catch her. If Melinda was not in the picture, there would be no show.

It's really boring this year and the ratings have dropped. I don't think too many guys can pull of the bald head look either. Chris Daughtry pulled it off but Phil looks like a James Bond villain. I don't like any of the singers.
 
I have to confess that i usally don't watch it after the auditions are over,(did watch the first season though),after flippin through the chanels did catch the end and I agree Diana Ross was A little full of herself and looking a little tipsy!

My favorite AI is kelly clarkson(sp) and Carrie underwood!
 
I'm a huge Daughtry fan. I love his CD :)

I guess everyone has their own opinions, and mine is Sanjaya can't sing very good. I like Phil Stacy. I don't care for Chris Sligh, but I do like Blake Lewis and Chris Richards or how ever his last name is.

Add me to the Melinda fan club! What a voice! She has a great personality and the best voice ever! I really hope she wins it all, but you know what...if she doesn't, she will still have a great career ahead of her!

I also like Chris Sligh. He isn't great to look at, but he has a terrific voice.

Sanjaya is just wrong. I still can't believe he's in the Top 11 no less. VFTW has done its job for sure. I don't think he'll make it to the very end, but I would bet money he'll be around a few more weeks. :(
 
I always tell my DH that Phil Stacey reminds me of some kind of Alien/Conehead. I know his head is not cone shaped but he looks like a conehead to me!

I have loved Melinda from the very beginning. Even in her audition, she was SOOOOOO incredibly humble...like she didn't know she could sing or something! Because she is so humble it makes you want to root for her that much more. At least I do anyway!!!

LOL! I agree with you Jen. I just don't care for pop music and have never been one to get caught up in tv mania. However, I do have some other interests I am sure these Idol fans would find wacky ;-)
