Today's workout was 4DS HIS step and 4DS Ch, Sh. & Tric = burned 566 cal

This workout was a little scrambled when I got to the weight part b/c my DVD kept freezing. Oh well, hopefully this wont happen next time.

Here We Go!

Hey Hey Hey...here I am. I started my day with STS Meso 1. I had a challenge doing all those pushups. Because of the amount of pushups and my lack of strength when doing them, I don't feel like I got a full challenged workout because I didn't do all the pushups. To make up for it, later this evening, I will do a small upper body workout segment from one of the Cathe dvds. Tomorrow will be a better day!

Thanks, Tara. Yep, I was energized all day til after dinner. Now, I'm dragging.

You'll get stronger on the pushups, trust me. I can do about 20 on my toes, but last year I did that (I was showing off to DH) then got up on one foot and did another 10 then switched feet and did another ten. He jaw was on the floor. It was SWEET!

One of my problems that I'm overcoming is getting to bed at a decent time. Because I try to get up before 5:15, I've got to be in bed-lights out by 9:30. Sometimes I watch TV or read in bed which we know is a no-no. But, hey, I'm a work in progress.

Well, I just finished 40/20 and it kicked my butt. I started with the same height as Cathe and kept it there even when she increased it for kick butts. But, I lowered mine a few cycles later so I could do more.

I'm done and off to a very busy day.

Hey Shereta, girl I am impressed with you. I am so exhausted from that workout. I had to make so many modifications. I feel so out of shape. I could not believe how winded I got during that workout. I did perservere. I am going to get there. I am just getting back into the routine of working out, so I'm challenging myself with these difficult workouts, but I'm not going to make excuses, just do it! Well I finished late, but better than never. My plan is to workout at the 5am hour also, but I am terrible about getting to bed on time. I love to read before bed.

I ate ok today, need to increase my water intake.

Well, I was busy last night and didn't get to post. However, I did get to bed by 9:30 so I'm was happy with that.

Tara, we're both a great work in progress. I'm impressed with you for pressing through it and getting it done. You're not intimidated by these workouts. Your endurance will improve. As you continue to do other workouts, they will all get a little easier as you tone up and loose a little weight. I look forward to the day when I can roll with Cathe step for step, jump for jump and weight for weight. It's my personal goal and if I don't die(hahahahaha), I will kept working towards that.

My water consumption was not up to par yesterday either. I woke up with a dry mouth. Not good.
 
Okay, the dvd I was planning to use for back and biceps kept freezing. Maybe I need a new dvd player. Anyway, I lost valuable time with that and decided to drop that idea and go for some cardio. I did 4DS LIC - 444 calories burned. wow.

I'll do back and biceps tomorrow with kickbox which should not interfere with legs the day after that.

Tara, where you at? Did you make the 5 am wake up call?
 
No I didn't make the 5am wakeup. My little girl woke up late last night and didn't go back to bed until late, so there went that attempt to workout early. Once I'm back to work I think the 5am workout will be easier because I'll be up anyway.

As far as today, I'm still following cathe's rotation and will do STS meso #1 disc #2 sometime today maybe while my daughter's taking her nap.

Besides doing my workout, my goal today is to follow my points and consume my 64 ounces of water.

Shereta it sounds like you handle her workouts pretty good. Have you seen much improvement in strength and endurance and fat loss since you first started her dvds and struggled like I am right now?
 
Yes, Tara. I'm definitely stronger since starting with Cathe's workouts and my endurance is really good. Now, I'm a chunky girl (not huge - size 14/16) but, I was sprinting across the parking lot at work on day when it was raining hard. My boss' jaw was on the floor when I passed him. lol He said he couldn't believe that was me only because he just never thought of me as a runner. Well, honestly, my hair was down and dang, Girl, it was raining. Got's to protect the investment. lol
 
(LOL) I know that's right protect the hair. That's great! Well, its 8pm and I finished my workout about 30 minutes ago. 539 calories burned and I did endure this workout, great sweat. Well, tomorrow will be more cardio. I'm ready. How are you doing with eating? Do you have your meals preplanned?
 
During the week, I am sort of a food snob. I basically eat the same thing:
B: egg beaters, sausage, 4-6pts
S: yogurt, almonds, 4-6pts
L: salad, chicken breast, 2-5 pts
S: protein bar, apple, 3-4 pts
dinner 5-8 pts
Snack 1-4 pts

Sometimes I'll do lean cuisine or take leftovers for lunch, but I"ve got to have a salad and fruit everyday or my body says ugly things to me. lol

The problem is, I tend to eat a little junk in between those. I know I'm challenged in the food intake area so that's what Im focusing on this year. As of this morning, I'm down 1.5 pounds since Monday. And I have cheated some but I've stayed on points. So, I guess I've not really cheated. I'm very motivated today.

Good for you getting it all done last night. If we keep this pace up through June, we're gonna be two smoking mommas.

Okay, Boxing is done. It was fun and I'm tired. About 20 minutes in, my arms felt like spaghetti. I like spaghetti. Then the music changed and I forgot all about spaghetti. It really works the core good.

I didn't have time for back and biceps. I'll tack in on with cardio on Saturday.

Tara, wake up, Girl. Where you at?
 
Hey Shereta! Girl, I finally got it done! Got that boxing workout in...girl, the ab work was challenging. My core is weak, but won't be for long. Congrats on the weight loss...I will weigh in on Sunday. I did good with my water intake and ate well. I had yogurt and cottage cheese for breakfast, lunch was tuna and for dinner I'll have a salad with toppings (lite)
 
Oh, Tara, that's some nice food intake. I'll weigh-in on Sunday too. That's my planned dessert day which I shouldn't have because I've had some sweets all week, but they have been withing my points allowance.

Today the weather has premitted us to have a 'snow day', actually it's a 'ice day'. The roads were predicted to be too icy for school buses to travel on. So, since I work at a school, my son and I are off today. We stayed up late watching a college championship football game and went to bed at 12:20. Woke up at 8:40. So, I just getting ready to do my workout.

I'll check in later.

How does your body feel after that boxing yesterday? I was tight until I got some coffee and water in, now I feel good.
 
OMG!!!! Butts w/o Gutts whooped by butt! My legs will be mad later on today and tomorrow. 619 calories burned.
 
WOW 619 calories, that's awesome, keep up the good work! I watched that game last night too, it was a good game. Well, I just finished my "partial" workout with STS. I started feeling some back strain about 30 minutes into the workout. It was alot of bending and squating that I should have taken a little easy, but I was trying to give it my best. I was going to continue, but I didn't want to overdo it and risk my workout plan, so I decided to end the workout and rest up for tomorrow's cardio workout. Well, I'll be doing that workout in the morning, so I will check in with you. Have a good evening!
 
I am going to finish that workout tomorrow. I did notate the time on my disc and left it in the dvd so that I can resume tomorrow along with cardio. I'm not going to give in or give up. I'm not going to be cheated out of losing this weight and getting into shape for good in 2010. You feel me?
 
Yes, Ma'am. I feel you. I'm impressed. Determined, huh? Oh I'm definitely feeling that! Good job at getting half done. It was so long. But today, I'm not feeling anything. wow! Now, today will be a long one for me cause I've got to tack back and biceps in after cardio cause I missed it on Tue.
