I'm sure it won't be that bad. Remember it's best to weight in the morning after you go to the bathroom, and before you eat or drink anything. You don't have to post it or you can pm and email me if you want to.

My weight is up a little because of the chinese food from yesterday. It'll take another day to leave my system. Oh well. We are a work in progress. But we will progress.

Okay, I have to tweek the rotation for this week since I'm loosing Saturday due to traveling.

So, today I did 30/30, the step combos from BM2 (for extra cardio), and the second workout of Core max = 860 calories burned. I left the step at 6in for the BM portion cause I wanted it to be comfortable, steady state workout.

I had to stop after 30/30 to get a slim fast drink cause I'm off schedule today. I didn't start working out til 8:30 cause we're off again from school due to unsafe icy roads. YEAH.

I'm feeling good.

Tara, you're working your way up to the 5 am club by working out so early today.
 
Hey Shereta, just noticed we had a different thread for week 2. Well...a bit of bad news, I had headache all day today. Found out my BP was high and was told I need to lose weight, lower my sodium and drink plenty of water to keep from being put on meds. WOW...what a wake up call. Well, needless to say, my head is still hurting from this morning. I am going to take it easy, so I'm not working out today. Will have to make up for it on Sunday.
 
I'll resume my workout tomorrow. Just had to put that out here. I'll start with 30/30 tomorrow...until then. I ate, just ok, not great...
 
Tara, wow. Well, at least you know where you stand with your health and you've already gotten serious about making healthy changes. You've already said this is our year and I agree. I'm glad you're taking a day or two off to kind of get your mind together.

Remember this is a temporary situation and you've already made plans to get your health where it needs to be. Eating well is the key.

This is our thang, and you do not have to make up any workouts unless you just want to.

We are a great work in progress.

I did get Cardio Cord circuit done today. My core is stronger and I was able to do a lot more than the first time I did it.
 
today's workout was butts/gutts w/o gutts, 47 min leg blast It repeated some killer moves that, I have to say, made me give Cathe some killer looks. Yowza!!!!!

I'm rushed today, but feeling good about my progress already this month.

Tara, we're probably following our plan by at least 95%. Thats pretty good.
 
Hey Shereta, I'm baaaaaack!!!! I did take yesterday off to relax. I'm feeling better, I actually was feeling better yesterday, but decided to take it off anyway because I KNEW there would be no stopping me. Well, it sounds like you are jumping and pumping girl...that's awesome! Keep it up!

As for the workout, I'm going to start with today's workout CCC...will post later!
 
Today's workout was MMA Kickbox and I LOVED IT. it was fun, doable and hard. I esp loved the core conditioning stuff. AWSOME.

I've lost three pounds this week which brings my Jan total to 5.5. It looks I'm really gonna loose 10 this month. YEAH> This has always been a goal of mine. It's not the workout out, it's the food intake for me. That's my drug of choice or should I say used to be my drug of choice. Without so much sugar in my system, I can't nix cravings easierly.

This week I've really dropped all excess sugar. No candy at all. Maybe a mint every now and again for the breath. Don't want to offend anyone or myself. lol I am so much stronger. I can feel my core shrinking.

Im on cloud nine. And running late. Gotta go.
 
WOW Shereta that is AWESOME!!!! Congrats! I wish I could say the same but I feel like I fell off when I took those two days off...well, I can't get down about it, just have to stay with it. I did workout yesterday to CCC and it was challenging. I will probably go back to CCC on Sunday which was my original rest day to make up for lost time. I am so inspired by your weight loss. I think I'm going to skip weighing in this week to keep from getting discouraged. So, are you still counting points and staying within your range or are you just eating healthier and less?
 
Hey, Tara. I agree that CCC is challenging. Did you find some fun in it? I did. But, I also loved Kickbox today.

Yeah, I'm surprised with my weight loss also. When I weighed on Monday, I was up a little from the chinese food of Sunday. Then I got nervous cause I really want to see a decrease each week. So, even though I may not, I've got to put forth the effort for progression. So, on Tue, I was very careful to stay within points, be ready to be a little hungry and not waste points on sweets that would not give my good energy. THe next day, there was a drop. So, I just kept doing it. I'm eating all my daily points and not needing my activity points because I'm just not that hungry.

I know eating less or no sugar keeps the cravings at bay.

Remember I'm going out of town time Monday evening. So, you'll have to start our thread on Monday morning. :)
