Oh, Judy, that is so sad. I hate to think how my kids would react if that happend to one of our cats. What a great thing for your neighbor to do. I grumble about our cat's, my daughter's cats, which are really mine and love me best of all because I never forget to feed them or change their water when my bummy daughter's shirk their duties and I love them so much, such smart, beautifuls girls they are. I am sorry for our loss and you are in my thoughts and prayers also!

Oh how very sad pets are such members of our families when they leave us it hurts My dog has been sick for about 2 weeks just had abig surgery on sept 29th and oh man how she is cut up but she had lots of infections in her cysts she is a 13 yr old lab she is home now and I am waiting for her to recover Iknow how terrible I would feel if we were to lose her My prayers are with you

Thank you everyone for all your kind words and prayers. They provided me with some comfort. Who knew we could love a pet as our own family? This pet owning business is very new to us.

We know that our Bella is safe now and probably seeing all the little rodents she killed in animal heaven.

On a positive note, my husband brought us home two 8 week old kittens who needed to leave the home they were in. They are all black with one tiny white spot on their chest. We can't even tell them apart and they never separate! We are falling in love again, but we will always have a special place in our hearts for out dear Bella Gato. The new kittys are Rocky and Appollo. Soooooooooooosan, I hope you don't don't mind that we borrowed the name.

Judy...that just warms my heart to hear about those 2 little kittens......I remember long ago loosing my 1st dog, I didn't know how bad that would hurt but getting a brand new puppy did ease the pain and got me smiling again...

You never loose the place in your heart for your lost animals...cute names too..
