OUCH!!!

I started working out and my knee is doing pretty good right now, feeling better now that I am up and moving and working out, BUT!! my muscles say OUCH!! especially my rear end!! LOL talk about woken up muscles LOL Ok the secret is out, I bite at spelling LOL, anyway I am pretty sore, should I take it easy till they feel better? or should I push it more? I love the feeling, even my abs were sore for a day or two, need to do those again,
 
I can relate. Did GSLegs yesterday(hadn't done it in a couple of weeks) and today boy am I feeling it. As for pushing through the soreness, as long as you don't work the same muscle group two days in a row, I have always heard it is ok to rework the area even if you are still a little sore.

I wouldn't push it harder until the DOMS are totally gone. I would still workout but maybe put 75% effort for another day. I have found that when I have DOMS, it is usually totally gone after I allow for a day or so rest, then work the muscles again but not at high intensity. I think the blood and oxygen flow to the muscles helps them feel much better. Don't forget to stretch! Ya know...I need to put that in my signature line!!:7
