I did Cardio Kicks yesterday for the first in a very very long time. I had forgotten how sore the punching drills make my upper body. My bra line area is so sore today, that I can barely wear my bra. I have actually changed 3 times trying to find a loose fitting one as I'm so uncomfortable. I hope it is better by tomorrow. I should start throwing in the punching drill section at least once week to help in this area.

I always forget how much I love CK until I haven't done it for a while...isn't it amazing how sore you'll get when you do a workout like this that you haven't done in a while? I've got it scheduled for tomorrow and haven't done it in a while, so hoping I'm as sore as you are! (lol...so funny I actually look forward to being sore). :)

I will never forget the first time I ever did a kicboxing type workout (and it wasn't even Cathe), it was almost 10 years ago and oh...the pain...sounds a lot like what you're going through!

9 years and a black belt later ;), I've realized that the reason I was SO SORE was that I was throwing my arms out too hard for the punches and not putting my body in to it while controlling my arms. Which is not to say that now when its been awhile since I've done any punching and I do KPC I am not sore, but at least I'm not crippled with pain like I was that first time!

OOOOOOO, I just got mine and haven't tried it yet. Now I'm really excited. I guess I'd better make sure all my bras are washed so I have some to choose from.;-)

That's funny Carol. I'm actually better this evening. I'm still sore, but at least I'm not uncomfortable anymore. I just got back from my evening walk and that really seemed to help work out some of the stiffness.
