Hi,
I have spent the last two days limping about and feeling sorry for myself because my knees have been seizing up and causing a lot of pain.(weakened by a history of roller and ice sports plus probably too much walking/excessive exercise)
All I can think about is that I have a lot of weight I want to lose and without the ability to do sufficient cardio I won't be in any kind of shape once our Aussie summer hits.
I notice that a lot of you ladies here are fitness instructers and of course a lot of you have gained your experience thru just plain hard work so I need to benefit from your experience here to help me out.
What sorts of cardio can I do that will not jarr my legs.. I can't run or jog and someone told me that even cycling will put pressure on the joints.
It's stupid but I have to lose these 30kg to get the stress off my knees but my knees aren't going to let me!
Once this weight is gone my knees will probably be fine.
What do you suggest?
By the way, I have thought about swimming but I'm not that much of a water baby. I do it for fun in summer but that's about it.
Thanks for your help,
Kelly :7
