Other Workouts that Use a Heavy Bag?

I'm thinking about asking my DH for a heavy bag and gloves for Christmas, but I hate to get one for only the heavy bag bonus workout in STS Cardio. Does anyone know of other good workouts that use it?

THANKS!

This series is all on the bag: http://www.amazon.com/Real-Kickboxi...ef=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1259511737&sr=1-1

The Pit http://www.amazon.com/Pit-Workout-J...ef=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1259511769&sr=1-2 (I have this one, and would let it go at a fair price---viewed once, never used).

and Crosspit workouts http://www.amazon.com/Pit-Workout-C...ef=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1259511769&sr=1-1

have heavy-bag segments.

Amy Bento's "Rumble" has a heavy-bag segment that is very nice (a good flow of moves, yet very authentic feeling). It's about 15 minutes long. A previous KB workout of hers (I forget which one) also has a heavy-bag segment, but it's less authentic feeling (ie: she does tuck jumps between some moves).

There are also two older bag-only workouts that are harder to find (OOP, and only on video) from Billy Blanks and Illaria Montanari (Powerstrike).

Everlast has two boxing videos by Michael Olajide that contain heavy-bag work.

HTH!

Just about any workout that has punching and kicking drills can be converted to the bag. I use my bag with KPC all the time. I move the combinations around the bag to make them tougher and more realistic. Be careful about kicking the bag though. If you have on studio shoes the bag can tear. I either go barefoot or I use the black wrestling shoes.

Happy punching and kicking!

was going to suggest the same thing. i could see myself doing my own drills for the cardio part of my kettlebell circuits.
