Now that spring will be coming in a few months, I have been thinking about how pretty the flowers are. I love to garden & have a pretty good selection of flowers. My favorite flowers are Lillies. Especially the large Stargazers. The are so pretty and smell amazing. What is your favorite flower??

Aila:)

Definitely Peonies and Lily of the Valley, they remind me of my wedding.

I wish we had flowers now, it's 6 degrees at the moment. YUCK!

Aila, Stargazer Lilies are one of my fav flowers, too! I adore their smell. My other favourite flower is the sunflower. Can't get enough sun flowers.

Well, I'm always excited to see the crocuses because that means spring is so close. I like the smell of hyacinths and lilacs. My favorite flower to plant is the dahlia because they grow so nice and need so little maintenance. Wisteria smells wonderful too.

Oh yeah! Peonies are great too. Gotta plant another one of those.

I always wished I could grow Sunflowers, but they get too tall for my backyard. Dahlias are pretty flowers too.

Your pics look great Donna!

Mine are Zinnia's. I also had alot of sunflowers that did well planted in my veggie garden last year. Only thing was they were not facing the way I wanted them to so I will try a different area this year. I started planted flowers from seeds in my sunroom, but it is a waste of time unless you have a greenhouse since I can't do anything about the humidity levels which just don't exist at the moment...think it was below 0 degrees last night?

Lily's (especially the star gazer) are my favorite smelling flower, and I, too, love the Dahlia. I like to have them everywhere!

My favorite flower is not from the ground but from a tree or bush. how ever you call them, but I love Lilocs, they smell so beautiful!! after that I love Lily's and Delpheniums, and I love they honeysuckle vines.

I looooooooooove tulips! Oh and lilacs! And roses! I still remember when I was little my grandmother had beautiful rose bushes ... mmm! They smell so nice! Oh and I know this is a little strange but I have a special place in my heart for dandelions (when they turn white and you can blow them!)!!! ... another grandmother memory!

ALL flowers, more for colour than smell.

I always have a HUGE arrangement of flowers in the bedroom, and on the dining room table as a centre piece. The more colours and types the better.

If people want to bring me something, they ALWAYS know I would prefer a bunch of flowers to chocolates

I like sunflowers, and birds of paradise.

And tiny little wildflowers if you don't pick them and see them in a meadow or forest clearing.

We have so much snow that I doubt I will see ANY flowers until July or August. One of my favorites are the johnny jump ups. I love them because they survive the snow and their sweet little faces will even poke through all the white stuff. Not to mention that they can be in full bloom and we will get more snow on top of them, and they will hang in there through it all. I appreciate their tenacity! It gives me hope

I wish I could garden or even grow flowers or plants in the apartment. Everything I try to grow, dies.
But I love flowers. My favorites are Sunflowers and gardenias. Love the sent of these.
Good luck with your garden and send some f your green thumb hints to me :>))

Lilies of the valley are my favorites, but they last such a short time.

I have lots of tulips, hyacinths and crocuses (croci?) in my yard.

Tulips are not only my favorite spring flower, but my favorite flower. I would much rather have a bouquet of tulips than a dozen long stemmed roses....
