OT: How do you get stuck play-doh out of carpet fibers?

My son makes a mess out of everything and today he decided to vacuum the tiny bits of fresh play-doh off the carpet with his toy vacuum cleaner that can actually suck out dirt. Well, I think he pressed his vacuum cleaner hard onto the floor, flattened the fresh play-doh and got a lot of orange and fuschia stuck on the carpet. I'm thinking of letting it dry and just picking at it later. But then, it might also get too stuck to the fibers. Any ideas? Thanks.

Maybe the same way you get gum out: rub an icecube over it until it gets stiff, then pull it up. Mind you, I don't know, but that's what I'd try first. (FYI: Playdoh was actually first invented as a way of getting marks off of wallpaper, then turned into a toy).

Hey Pinky! i have never had playdough stuck in my carpet, but i have had wax catastrophes and to get it out of carpet, you put an old wash cloth down over the spot and iron it on high heat. it soaks into the rag and leaves no trace on the carpet.....maybe that would work????????????// good luck!
