Oreo Balls - Again!

Soosan

Cathlete
Dani, I just wanted to thank you for posting the Oreo Balls recipe. My children made two batches this morning for a cookie exchange. Everybody who tried them loved them! My oven is on the fritz so these no bake goodies were just the ticket! Thanks again!:)

Me too. I have done the recipe in the past weekend and the oreo balls were delicious. Thank you Dani.

Dani

Me and my girls are making them on Christmas Eve for meals on Christmas Day. I can't wait...I hope everyone eats them and we don't have to bring them back home - I'M SCARED!!

I bet they are going to be yummy.

Hey Dani! Thank you soo much for this recipe. My son and I made them the other day for his Christmas program. I can't wait to see how people like them tonight. It's been a fight to keep my families hands off of them, that's for sure! We all tried one, and loved them!

Hi everybody - I want to make these. I have a question - after you dip in the chocolate, do you just put them on a tray in the fridge or what? Would it be better to put them in the freezer? TIA

Julie

That is so great everyone! I'm SO happy you're all liking it! :D

Julie, after I dipped them in the chocolate, I put them on wax paper on a tray in the fridge. You can also put them in the freezer I imagine.

:)

RE: quick question to anyone!!!

Oh my gosh! These were so good! They were gone in one day! I'm trying to figure out how I can make these into smores!!!!!!! Any suggestions?

Happy Holidays!

michele - there are melting chocolates in the baking aisle usually. they look like really wide flat chocolate chips. baker's also makes little tubs of microwaveable dipping chocolate (although i took it out and melted it in a double boiler)

btw, this weekend i'm making them again and i'm going to try a batch with the mint oreos. i'll let you know how that goes!

karen - what if you included some crushed graham crackers with the oreo and cream cheese mixture, made into flatter balls, dipped them in chocolate, then put a small dollop of marshmallow cream on top?

AAAAAA!!! Oh No!! This is just too cruel,i made these yesterday and WOW so... good .My first thought after trying them was i really hope everyone else gobbles these up because i don't think i have enough willpower to not devour these things all by myself.I could see the headlines now " Woman rushed to hospital due to oreo ball overdose" and now you tell me about the mint oreos, mint chocolate is one of my absolute Favorite things!!! It's gonna be rough! LOL !!

YUMMY!!! I mean i made these today and didn't even lick the spoon.(yeah right). I used reduced fat oreos and cream cheese!!! That makes it ok right? Chocolate is definetly my downfall!;(
