I have GS/BSB & GS/C/S & ME and would like to be able to add to these. Which would work best--S&H, MM, or PUB? And how do you use MM & PUB to work just one body part?
I would also like to get another w/o with kickboxing(I have BC & LM)--which do you recommend out of KPC, KM, or CK?
~~~TIA~~~:):)
i don't have MM or S&H(only done the fittv version) but for cardio i would go with KPC b/c its a little more intense then KM, but KM has its benefits too. each have high intensity drill and kick/punch combos i just find KPC combos a little more intense then KM. but if you can only get one for now it would be KPC if you can get both i would. i don't have CK so i can't comment on them.
for PUB i am not sure if there is a premix for one body part. if that is what you are looking for then maybe you are better off with S&H or even PS since it splits body parts up over 3 workouts. i do like PUB(again only done the fittv version)but its a weight workout i can do on my own without spending the money on the dvd.
Susan,
Whichever you pick you just can't go wrong;) Everyone has their favorites so I'm sure you will get a variety of opinions. I find Cardio Kicks requires a lot of space (I have a really big workout area and I am amazingly all over it) so if you don't like to change Cathe's moves and you don't have a lot of space it may be something to consider(it's not named cardio kicks for nothing;). KPC has absolutely incredible leg exercises and KPC is just plain hard working fun. Honestly, and this is tough, I think if I could only pick "one" it would have to be KPC....only because of the fun factor and my HRM readings. I think I work harder when I'm having fun.
I really can't comment on the first part of your first question because it really depends on "your" goals. Did you want to gain muscle? Are you interested in more definition? They are all wonderful DVDs with different focuses. Again, you can't go wrong with any of your choices.
ETA: To get the best ideas on how to mix and match you may want to check fitnessfreak's rotations:). She has many incredible rotations with the GS, PS, PUB and S&H series.
Robin:)
Thanks Kassia!
I think I'll probably get KPC and the S&H. I'm sure I'll end up with PUB AND KM before too long!;-)
Thanks Again!!:)
Hi Robin~
I workout in my basement on a raised platform(don't want to jump around on the cement floor) that isn't quite large enough for some of LM so I don't think CK would work--KPC it is!! Thanks!!:)
And I guess I want to do both--gain muscle AND get more definition. I have printed Cathe's Upperbody Bliss and Hardcore Rotations and Fitnessfreak's One Body Part a Week and Muscle Building and Definition Rotations. I think I'm going to go with the S&H. I'm sure I'll have the others.....very soon!;-)
Thanks for your sharing your opinion!:)
