Opinions of CTX Upper body

I guess since the video is new, there is no option to view parts of it like the other videos so I wanted to get your opinions of the work out. I have All Step and really like the format of the shoulder workout and am assuming that the other body parts are worked out the same way.

I love this video. It's much tougher when all of these parts are put together, too. I am doing a rotation now with Leaner Legs, CTX Upperbody, and MIS as my three weight workouts each week. I have been doing this now for 5 weeks, with one of the CTX cardios added on to LL, and then one hour long kickbox and one hour long step and one hour long interval workout per week. To each of these I add one of Cathe's abs routines or half of Kari Anderson's new CURL abs tape--which is excellent by the way.
 
This is a great video -- really really hard, but very comprehensive. Your arms will be very wobbly afterwards.

Lynda, I've been doing a similar rotation to yours for the past couple of weeks and I'm seeing serious improvements in my strength and definition:

Sunday: 1/2 hour cardio (CTX) and Leaner Legs
Monday: CTX Upper Body Split
Tuesday: Interval Max
Wednesday: Pure Strength Legs and Abs
Thursday: MIS (Everything except the legs section)
Friday: Step Heat or another step tape
Saturday: Rest

Whew! I'm exhuasted. Good thing it's Saturday tomorrow. :)

If I do get this tape, I want to use it 2-3 times per week along with the legs section in MIS and some cardio on the other days.

I love this tape. It is really good. As a matter of fact, I was thinking today about how much I like it...and I see your post! :)

I highly recommend it. It will leave you "shaking."

Wait until you do it. I think 3 times per week will be very hard. I was surprised at how thoroughly I felt it the first couple weeks I did the tape. When you get to the pushups for the triceps at the end, I think you will see what I mean.
 
Those tricep pushups are insane. I have a notebook where I write down the weights I use and when it came to those pushups I just wrote "oh, come on!" :)
 
Get it, by all means! But only do it twice a week. Even though it is endurance based, 3x's seems like a lot. It is tough! Have fun!
 
I just ordered it. I'd like to use it twice a week and Meaner Legs twice a week for a few weeks, then switch to PS and/or SH for a few weeks. Kinda alternate back and forth between "endurance" and "heavy weight" workouts.

I'd really like to work each body part twice a week, shooting for maximum muscle gains. That's the one thing I don't like about the PS and SH series.

I've just started using LL - wow! Those low end lunges are killin' me!

I too love to run. I was wondering how you intergrate the strength tapes into your running program? Do you work upper and lower body on different days? Lift heavy? Or, do you do lighter weights high reps in a Total Body workout alla Power Hr.? Thanks for your input...Deb
 
This is my FAVORITE video by far! I simply love it. Although it is categorized as endurance, my muscles respond the best to this type of workout. I love it so much!!!
