To put it in perspective, 3 months ago was June 25! That was not so long ago, and you can see how fast Xmas will creep up on us. I don't have my shopping done, but that amounts to a bunch of gift certificates which don't take long to buy.
I work at a church, so Xmas is a crazy time. It's not even October, and it's already started.

Already the shops in the UK are setting up their Christmas wares, and I noticed Christmas Puddings for sale at the supermarket the other day. I ADORE Christmas Pudding, my one and only Christmas treat, with cold, half fat, single cream on it - yummy ! I don't have any of the other stuff, just christmas pudding - just as well they don't sell it all year round !
