One Rep Max Question

Hello all,

I am completing my one rep maxes and am starting STS this week. My question is:

After a workout, when I go back into my workout card to enter the Actual Weight and Actual Reps completed, does that change the recommended weight to lift on future workouts on my workout cards? Or is this always calculated by my original one-rep max that I have logged?

I hope this makes sense -

Thanks for your time!

From the WM calendar, if you click to edit the details of the workout, on the right hand side of your screen, you will see an icon that you can click on to edit your 1RM. It will then ask you what weight you should use for that exercise, and after you type that in, it will again ask if you want to save a new 1RM. If you do that, the program will then update the weights for all the DVD's. But unless you go through those steps, I believe (and please correct me if I am wrong), that your 1RM will not be changed.

Data entered into the Actual Weight and Actual Reps fields will not have any future affect on your 1RM or future workouts.
