Hi Everyone,
Today was STS 13 & I added KCM:Split Session Premix: Pull(12 min) & finished with Shiva's Fluid Power using the Matrix!:cool::)

Jane: Happy to hear you & your family are safe!:) We heard on the news about a little girl whose name is Angel who was the only survivor of her family & is on life support!:( Prayers for her for sure
The pictures we are seeing is showing the devastation everywhere! Prayers to all!
Our weather is sunny & a little on the cool side

Thanks for starting the check-in, Cathy! Wow! You sure rocked the workouts yesterday! Way to start off the week! You must be feeling a bit better?
Yesterday I did STS Disc #13. I was able to use the same weight that I did the first time through, so that made me feel good.
We got about an inch of snow last night, but it didn't stick. Such weird weather.
I was so saddened to hear that Angel passed away. The devastation is heart rending. We were so blessed here. I'm SO grateful!

We were gone most of the day & only managed a 30 min walk today!

Good morning!
Sunny & cold here today! Whew! I'm ready for it to stay warm. I think it feels colder because we had the warmer weather for awhile. My fingers are actually numb this morning as I type!
I did AfterBurn yesterday evening. I still have to take longer breaks than Cathe & crew, but I'm seeing progress every time I do this one. This evening will be STS Disc #14, Legs.
Cathy: Good for you for getting the walk in. When I'm away all day, it wears me out & I don't want to do anything! Hope you're feeling a bit better!

Today I did STS 14 Legs & KCM Split Sessions Premix :push ( 10 min ) & finished with a Yoga Stretch:) This is going to be another painful week!:(

Jane: Great job on Afterburn!:cool::D I hope you're keeping warm! I guess we are going to get winter after all! I went yesterday to be referred for a PT! So we'll see how long the list is!!

Good morning! It's sunny again today - YAY! - & it's going to be warm again & up to almost 70 tomorrow. Hard to believe it snowed on Monday! :p
Great job on your workout, Cathy! What's KCM? I'm sorry that it's turning into another painful week for you! HUGS to you! I'm glad you've at least been referred to a PT now. I hope & pray your wait is not too awful long!
Yesterday evening was painful for me, too, so I decided to skip the workout. That & the drive home was horribly long - they've taken 4 lanes of traffic & squished it into 2, which equals nightmare!
I hope we both feel better today!

Today I did Step Jam:) & a short Yoga! It's sunny & a little crisp here today

Jane: I'm sorry you're also having pain this week!:( There must be something with the weather! Squishing 4 lanes into 2 is not pretty & is stressful!
My legs were hurting after STS 14, more than they should have been & today they are still hurting! I guess it's the nerves:mad:
Take it easy & if need be we can repeat this week or just carry on & finish when we finish!;)

Cathy: Good job on the workout, but I'm sorry your legs are hurting. My pain is in my lower back & LIS always aggravates it (but I'm not going to quit doing it... LOL). I hope that today finds you a bit better!
I did STS Disc 14: Legs yesterday evening. I used my barbell for squats & dead lifts instead of dumbbells. My highest dumbbell weight is 15 pounds, so I just substitute the barbell when I need higher weight.
I found a quicker way to & from work, so I'm much less stressed today. I've only lived here since 1982 - but I had to mapquest it...:eek:
Cathy: Do you like all of KCM's DVD's, or are there a few in particular that you really, really like? I kind of like the idea that they are around 30 minutes. The older I get, the more that appeals to me! LOL:rolleyes:
It's rainy here today, but it's 60. Hurt-o-meter is in the danger zone...:mad:

The sun is out - Yay! It's a brisk 40 degrees, & it feels great!
I did Shock Cardio MMA: Kickbox yesterday evening. The 3 of them, Kickbox, Boxing & Fusion, I have trouble with. I'm pretty coordinated when it comes to step, but I always struggle with those 3. So! I'm going to do them until I get them, instead of letting them sit! :p

I'm thankful it's Friday. I'm ready for the weekend!

This morning I did the workouts I missed yesterday! STS Disc 15 Back & Biceps & KCM Split Sessions Premix: Legs/Shoulders & this afternoon I did today's scheduled workout Step Max:D finishing with Stretch Max Stability Ball!

Jane: I'm really happy you're using the MMAs! Then we can use them more often;) I think I have 2 of them for next week:) As far as coordination the only mix up I sometimes have is on the punches I'll wind up doing a uppercut instead of a hook
We've got a very brisk wind out our way today & it's a little nippy!!

Wow, Cathy! Great job on the workouts! Hope you had a great, relatively pain-free weekend.
I did STS Disc 15, Back & Biceps on Friday evening, took a rest day on Saturday, then did STS Disc 15, Chest, Shoulders & Triceps on Sunday.
I'm not sure what I'll do this evening. Tomorrow, I won't be around on the forums - my son-in-law is having open heart surgery. He's only in his 40's, but he has 4 major blockages. Luckily, he had not had a heart attack, just chest pains. Whew!
It's supposed to be in the 70's here tomorrow. I think we just skipped right over winter, & we're heading right to summer! Crazy weather!

Sorry to butt in.. but i have to say i do not know what KCM means but i always read it as Kick crunch and munch..lmbo. ok just had to get that off my chest. Lol

I had to ask what it means, also, so don't feel bad. It's Kelly Coffey-Myers, but I think your KCM is cute! ;):D
 
Is Kelly fun? I just laugh everytime i read it because it just rolls out by accident. Is Kelly high impact and does her music get u going? That is y i love Cathe is the music.. well lov her personality as well.

Good job on your workout, Cathy! Are you feeling a bit better today, I hope?
Night before last, I did MMA: Boxing, & yesterday evening, I did STS Disc 17, Legs. I can't believe the definition I'm getting in my hamstrings. :D That did not happen the first time through STS, so I'm pleased with that. Last week, when I did Back & Biceps, I didn't do the deadlifts, since I had just done them in Legs. Do you do them in both workouts? My hip thanked me for not doing them, I know that!:p
My son-in-law's surgery went very well, thank goodness! It was a long surgery (6 hours), so it was a very long day.
It's beautiful here - 70 degrees & sunny.

Yesterday was a Odds'n'End trip to town & was also our 34th wedding anniversary,:) so no workout!
Today I did MMA Kick Boxing & STS 17 Legs & a Yoga Stretch!:)

Great job on the MMA & Legs(glad about your hamstrings):cool:;)
If I do back to back deadlifts I either go lighter or not as deep or both!;)

Great job on the workouts! I don't know how you do more than one per day. I'm wiped out after one!
I didn't work out yesterday evening. I got a cold (probably from all those people I was around at the hospital!) & felt like total crap! I don't feel much better today, but I have a self defense class on Friday evening, so I need to get Back & Biceps done tonight. I'll wait & see how I feel after work. I shared a funny post on Facebook: before & after work pictures. That's about how I felt yesterday & today!
Renee: I don't have any of KCM's workouts yet, but if Cathy likes them, I'm sure they are!
