**One Day at a Time** June 4 - July 8

Thanks to Both of you. I am hoping that's it. It fellt like it was brok oor everytime I stretched felt like a hammer smasheed it. If I was laying down it Was throbbing. Today it feelss fine. My back still feels ouut of sorts. My foot with PF feels soore still like it hass. Bbeen for months but the right foot feels normal. Its crazy. I jave always been active no matter how big I was or little so this is irritating. I'm nott doing a work out unless iits strettching or wallking. Until I can get to doc. I need ur prayers for my sccaredness. You know that can cripple a person ! Worry or beiing sscared Is Worse then anything. It makes me feel I'm losing my mind
 
Renee: You're not losing your mind, but worry & lack of sleep are a dreadful combination, & can exaggerate what you're feeling into an avalanche of emotion. Do you ever take Advil PM or something, to help you sleep? I'm sure glad that you're back to normal on the one foot, at least! Sometimes inflammation can cause pinching of nerves, so it might have been something you ate at the cook out, or it could have been your body's reaction to the chiropractor visit.
Cathy: Boy, your garden is a lot of work! But, I imagine enjoying those veggies are worth every minute! I eat a lot of tomatoes - I can make a meal of our home grown tomatoes & cottage cheese. But, I can't eat store bought ones at all - yuck! Funny, but when I mentioned that feeling of having bugs crawling on me, my dr. said, "Restless Leg Syndrome" & that was the end of that discussion!!! It is such a weird feeling!!!
I saw that the new DVDs are shipping week-end! So exciting! I hope we're up to trying them!:rolleyes: I did do Step Moves on Friday evening, & I did Slide & Glide on Saturday. So far, so good! We went out on the boat yesterday, & that bouncing around didn't do my back any favors, but if I don't go out at least once a summer, my DH gets upset with me. He just doesn't understand fibromyalgia...

So the food I ate Saturday night have now kicked in & feels like I'm being stung by wasps at the back of my knees! I have to learn not to eat out & let people think I'm rude I guess! GRRRRRRRR:mad::mad:
 
Lol cathy. You r right people do Make you feel like you are being rude.. lol I Hope it Gets better .. I love the ideea of. Growing my own. Food. Like I said I have Tomatoes but nothing else lol. Sand sand.
Jane I am hoping it is what I'm eating. Also. I heard to much protein can cause problems anf I was eating a ton of it.
Remember I ttold u ii lost on low fat? Well I also had more energy so I. Think maybe I need to go back to basics and eat that way. Today. I actually feel normal! But I havnt exercised since Friday or sat I can't remember if I did on sat before cook out or not. I dontt think I did. Today I did cathe totalbbody stretch. I thouught maybe that would be good for now.
Yes I was so excited for. Her new exercise dvds.. but now I'm thinking maybe it was a mistake to get them. I hope one day I can. You r right abouut emotion jane
Oh and great job on ur workouts you. R doing great! Keep it up ! And pray we alll get back at it.

Yesterday evening I did Upper Body TriSets. So far so good on the elbow!
Cathy: I'm so sorry that the food you had Saturday triggered such an awful reaction! It definitely is NOT WORTH IT! I know you hate to be rude, but hey, your the one that has to deal with the reaction - not them! Stick to your guns, girlfriend! Are you feeling any better today, or will it take awhile to get out of your system?
Renee: I'm glad you're starting to feel a bit better! Yay! You obviously needed a break. I'm going to go back to low fat, too, Renee, just as soon as vacation is over. LOL Actually, I always eat better at my parents' because they hardly ever eat processed food, so I'll be eating lots of veggies & fruits. Hopefully, that will keep me motivated when I come back home. DH will just have to get over it... LOL

Jane I hope u r feeling good today. I was going across street yesterday for lunch and walking sorta fast to get put of traffic I heard and felt a pop and pain. So today was doc apt. He does think it is pf however he suspect something else is going on as well. Hd wants to gather all info from the other docs I been to .. and my reg doc. See I'm switching to this doctor because he is my hubbys. And he said he liked him. He did SEEM to listen. And for him to say he wants too gather data from 10 yr old feet surgery I think lets me know he might be careful in finding whatever is going on.
I was wondering dk u guys know if both new wo has low impact segments? I read one of them did but can't remember if both does. I hope so cause I was so excited ..now I'm so sad I may not b able to do them.

I've been busy in the garden weeding & watering.

Renee: How have you been doing & how did your doctor's appointment go? Are you getting any answers? How have been doing on your workouts? Has any of the bad weather affected you & your family? I pray that you're fine!

Jane: Praying you & your family are fine! They've been showing some pictures on the TV! I don't why but I prefer HLN for this type of news! Some places/areas look bad & the power outtages affecting so many! I'm sure you're enjoying your time with your folks!

Cathy hi, thanks for asking. He said to given it more time. Pf may have caused back to hurts andl limping may have caused pain and throbbing in other foot. He said I need to given it more time. However he thinks something else may b going on. So he said he wants togather data from feet surgery from 10 yrs ago. And other doctors reports.
Hubby bought me a spin bike for now. I have been doinng u pper body weights. Then bike really works my quads that is something I need. Cant do lunges no balance cause no bones in side of outer foot. And squats hard on back. So hoping this will strengthn quads. I just wish I can eat less. Lol..
Hope I can do new workouts soon. How did up guys like new dvds?

Good afternoon ladies!
Back from my harrowing vacation! I'm just thankful for all those hard-working electric workers. The speed with which they got people up & running was phenomenal - especially in the record breaking heat we've been having!! My mom & dad got power back on Tuesday night, but they still do not have phone. But, at least they now have A/C! It is in the 100's here today & very muggy. Today & tomorrow are supposed to be THE hottest days so far.
Renee: I couldn't help but wonder if your dad was in the path of the storm, too? I'm glad you have a doctor that's truly going to look into your problem! Yay! & double Yay! to your spin bike! I must admit, I'm a tad bit jealous.
Cathy: Sounds as though your garden is coming together slowly but surely. How is your granddaughter? I hope she is recuperating OK.
I did Gym Styles Back, Shoulders & Biceps yesterday evening, & the night before I did To The Max. I came back downstairs afterwards & told my DH that, "It's official, Cathe is trying to kill me." He just laughed at me. Thankfully, it was VERY easy to modify for low impact!
Had to play catch up at work yesterday, but I can see my desk now, so figured I'd better check in before you all thought I wasn't ever coming back! LOL

Nice job jane on crossfire. I wish I can do them. Soon I hope.

Been doing spin. Dissapointed today with calories burn. 270 in 30 mints. I was working hard so hope for bigger number.

Went to see magic mike with my neiceis today. Lol.

Im so stoked !! I did To the max to day! All of it! No premixes, I did the regular workout, it is fun went by fast, I felt great today and my foot was not bothering me this morning, so i thought okay ill try just 10 minutes, then i was still feeling good no pain in foot yet. If it came to jumping i jumped but lightly and not high, or i modified where i knew how to. I dig squat digs no jumping and so forth. I staddle jumped but not over the step it was on the floor. the step taps was done on the end of the bench! I am so so happy I burned 432 calories in 45 minutes! WHAT? LOL that is according to my HRM.. When i wanted to quit the song Stronger came on and it gave me even MORE energy to keep going. It can be modified and i can make it harder even, This workout is really a great workout becaue it will push you, yet you get out of it what you put in and it I can grow into even with the way to make it harder as time goes on. Oh yes i did have to take a breather on the HIIT like instead of 30 sec all out i did 25 sec then rested so on. I used lighter weights as well so i will have room to grow. Love love the music!
 
forgot to say i also used pink instead of blue bands and i used one less riser then cathe and them did. So yes i have plenty of room for improvement but i am so happy i did it without foot pain. But we will see how it is going to feel tomorrow!
 
Hello ladies!
Finally, it is cooling down here today! It was 112.5 yesterday. It got up to 104 today, but it's down to 89 as a cold front/storm is moving through. Thank goodness! Our A/C literally did not stop yesterday. :eek:
Renee: GREAT job on To the Max! I had to take several long breaks during that one! It is easy to modify to low impact, which I like a lot!
Cathy: Hope you're getting a break from the heat, too!
I did CrossFire + Core Premix this afternoon. I didn't have to take breaks like I did for To the Max, so that was good. It is also easy to modify. These seriously kick butt!!! I had to laugh because I broke my blue firewalker band! Luckily, I had bought an extra set not too long ago.
I can't wait to hear more about Cathe's 10 new workouts! So exciting how she keeps churning them out. Such creative genius!!! :D:eek:

Great job on crossfire! Im hoping I can do crossfire soon. Right now im waiting to seem how my foot feels tomorrow after ttm today.

Yeah cant beleive Cathe is doing it again. Love her! I sure hope I can afford them.
