Ha ha Jane that made me lol for real! Yes yes peanut butter... I used to love chocolate but it wasnt this bad. And anyone who knows me knows i got it bad.. Got to go check that out!
Good job on DOMS! I love that and cant wait to know how you will feel today! I did legs and chest back and shoulders today. I didnt have to work so had some time to do it. I also did les mils combat yesterday but i wouldnt call it a wo cause i was lost, i made a mistake of doing one after the kickstart dvd. Lol . My DS2 wanted to try ,les mils so i figured i better take him up on it ... He was sweating but i wasnt. I just got it in the mail to add alittle more cardio on days like bis n tris or tabata cause i cant do but two tabatas. So anyway im on my xtrain rotation now and caught up.. Yah tomorrow is tabatacise.

Well, I did Burn Sets Bi's & Tri's yesterday evening, then I did the 100 rep challenges for both Bi's & Tri's. My biceps are a little tight, and my elbow is hurting quite a bit, but I expected it to hurt... This evening is my rest day, & I'm glad, because my stamina is not built up yet & I'm TIRED! LOL I don't want to wear myself down like I did before. I may put in another rest day - 6 days a week may be too much for this old lady! LOL
Renee, I saw another one on peanut butter that was really funny, but it had the f bomb in it, so I didn't want to share it. But, it was of a little child with peanut butter smeared all over him. It was cute, except for the f bomb! Wow! You're really rocking the workouts!! Way to go! :eek:

Lol thanks for the compliment. I love working out, but cant get eating under control.. I think im trying to b mean to myself geez lol i exercise great then i stuff myself like a turkey.
Great job on bis and tris, yah i dont want you to hurt yourself for sure. I know my back felt crappy after i did combat on tues. I think it was kicking, it wasnt as cardio based to me as much as hardstrikes but lots of kicking so that means tourqing to the side for side kicks. Twists on torso.. I dont know why xtrain doesnt hurt me..

Its is strange i hear everyone talking about high impact for xtrain and i supose it is, but y is it they, dont bother me like combat did and i didnt even sweat much and combat didnt feel like alot of inpact.
Well today is tabata but im only gonna do 2 tabatas and a nice easy step, like low impact step 40 min easy stepping for slow cal burn but have tabata added for good measure.
I think bis n tris is for friday and HS sat and sun is supercuts.. Fun stuff! I really love all the wo in this series.. Honestly in all other series there was half i liked and the other half felt it wore me out or just wasnt as fun like ouch " afterburn!" That one is so hard, and i think i can do a premix, thats one time though i can handle that but the music is so blah, i dont even want to try lol .
. Now xtrain the only one i feel is not my fav is AOLIH and i like it anyway because of music. I can do it and after im finished glad i did it.
Now tabata one is fun but hard! That would have a dread if i had to do whole thing or if it had crappy music but it has good music and i can get by with two for now lol. But i really like all dvds in this set.
What about u guys? Do you have a fav?
 
Hi ladies! I didn't work out yesterday evening, & I may not work out tonight, either. I'm in the office alone today (there's usually 3 of us) & it has been a long, tense day already, & it's not even 2:00 yet! I know working out is a good stress reliever, but I'm not sure I'll have any energy left by the time I fight traffic to get home! Hopefully, the big snow storm is going to by pass us.
Caitlin: I wish you luck with the snow storm!
Cathy: Are you in line for the big snow, too?
Renee: I love to work out, too, but I also eat too much - especially at night. I can eat a full meal, but still want to snack! AARGH!:mad::rolleyes:

Jane: We had snow on Monday, enough that the yard had to be cleaned We are not expecting this one where we are!

Tuesday: 15 min. Walk & 33 min. light weight & 15 min strerch
Wednesday: 30 min. Walk
Thursday: 20 min. cardio & 29 min. body weight & 20 min stretch
Friday: 45 min. cardio & 15 min. stretch
Still trying to work on the smaller muscle groups for a while & hoping to avoid any type of injury this year!

Cathy it sounds like u have a great progtam going to get u on track and stay healthy! I hope u dont have any set backs. R u gonna try any of the xtrain wo? Yes im still on xtrain sunday will wrap up week 6 and i am getting stronger on the weights but i still feel there isnt enough cardio ..
Jane, hi i hate having such hard fays and traffic is aweful yuk. But try to remember the exercise will GIVE you energy. Just something to think about. Im not sure with fybromyalgia, so it may be diffrent but thats what i noticed for me but sometimes i do NOT feel like even trying and i gotta go to bed lol.
Okay, like i said i need more vardio i think so i tried les mils combat and i hardly broke a sweat but maybe its because i dont know the moves very well. Idk. Ill keep trying.
 
Sat. was a 45 min. Walk & 30 min. of Lt. Weights & today was 20 min. Shovel Max & a 15 min. stretch

Renee: WAY TO GO ON XTRAIN CONGRATULATIONS

I might be able to do some of the Legs disc. I'll have to see

Thanks Cathy.. You can do the leg wo! I really think it is a program thats easily adaptable to any level but also for us who have to modify for different reasons but still keep it at a high level if needed. I promise u can do it!
 
Got supercuts in today after the movies with son and dil man to much popcorn! That stufff is so bad for u..i felt gross so as soon as i got home i did sc. Still feel yukky.

Cathy: Great job on your workouts! Shovel Max had to be a bear, though! I hope you didn't hurt anything! I agree with Renee, I think you could do the Legs workout. I just did the Standing portion to start, then the next time I did the rest of it.
Renee: Ooh, movie theater popcorn is the best! :p We hardly ever go to the movies. I figure once in awhile won't hurt you! I haven't tried Super Cuts yet, but I may do it tonight. I broke with the rotation. I have to admit, I couldn't face doing the same workout again. :eek: :rolleyes:
I didn't do anything Friday, either. I was so worn out, I just went home & crashed. Saturday was Clean Max, but Sunday I did Butts & Guts. & I made it through the whole thing! I'd never even tried the whole thing before, so I was pretty proud of myself! :eek: I'm waiting for the DOMS to hit any time now...:rolleyes:
Caitlin: I have no idea how much snow you got, or if you even have power. I hope you're OK! Hopefully, you'll check in with us soon so that we'll know you're OK.

Yesterday was suppose to be a rest day until shovel max, so I may make today a rest day Haven't decided

Jane, it took 7 weeks after the "pop" before I've been able to get back to any type of consistent workouts plus the time with doing only physio exercises it's been 5 months away! I'm starting my 3rd week back today, so it hasn't been that long yet If I do any of XTrain Legs it would have to be floor first, then work up to the ball, then the standing portion.
This time I'm taking my time & going to try & make sure the smaller back & the hip muscles are strong enough before lifting weights Now sticking to the plan.....

Hello all!
Today,is rest day but my plan was to do HS cause Saturday was a rest day unplanned. But DH computer is broke so i couldnt bring it to work. Ill explain later when i get home or...you can read it on the xtrain 90 day rotation. Lol i typed it once and on phone i cant copy and patse and way to much to type.
Anyway i hope to get to HS soon. Jane i do know what u mean about doing a wo over that was my problem about doing a rotation. But i promised myself to at least get through and try to finish. I just have to ..anyway by the time u get to week seven it does seem to be more diverse again. Lije tabata is added and supercuts and i hadnt done them til i wwas supose to so it helped make it not so repetitive.

Cathy i do not blame you.. Take ur time. Getting there should be fun and safe, if not whats the point? I think that is part of healthy living, to try and enjoy the process.

Catlin where are u? I know u had some issues again and it makes me wonder if u r ok. Stay strong.
 
I didnt get to do HS my lower back muscles was sore. I think it was from supercuts yesterday the move with leg up n down with a five pound weight in one arm uo n down do u guys know what im talking about? Any way i think that made me sore. Today was supose to be a make up day so i guess ill have to double up sometime.
 
Oh, Renee, I wish you had warned me not to do SuperCuts after Leg day! LOL :p My legs are definitely talking to me today! WHEW! Loved the workout, though! I'm definitely liking the non-repetition in this new series. Are you talking about the windmill move for the core? If you are, I'm glad I did that one without weights. When Cathe said to do it with light weights or no weights, I thought I'd better go with no weights the first time.
Cathy: I'm glad that you're being smart about getting back into your workouts, although shovel max cannot be good for your back! Floor work in Legs is the hardest for me because of the torque of the hip. Wow! You had a really long walk! How are your dogs doing? Your grandchildren? DH? Kids? Hope everyone is doing well.
Caitlin: Come out, come out, wherever you are! LOL Seriously, we all hope that you're safe & sound!

Jane i forgot about legs after supercuts! Im not sure what the move was called but it is on all fors first than right leg straight and right hand stays on floor but left hand has the weight then raises to a one arm rear delt. Same time you are doing a leg raise on right side. I used 3 pound the first time, i didnt feel bad at all but this time i forgot what i used and grabed five. I didnt feel it much. Till next day!
I think this series is non repetitive but i saw some complaints people think it is and they are stopping there rotation cauae they are gettn bored... Im confused. I dont find them boring at all. Now i do want more cardio like i want 4 or 5 days some kind of cardio. I can add so not a problem for me.

My cold is better but

i spent to much time wit DS today, I only managed half an hour of cardio. i guess that at better than nothing I will build myself up again and although i just showered I might do a short let worout.

Hello to all you wonderful people.

I am going to do some kickboxing now, and I have the four pound weighted gloves. After that I will do legs. I really was sick this winter, and it cut so much on my workout time.
