**ONE DAY AT A TIME FOR 2013**

I have a cold now

I swear it is because there is not enough heat in this building. I just called up 311 and made a heat complaint. Because I have this cold, I may only do the upper body portion of High Reps, and give cardio as rest. I also order the Polar f7 heart rate monitor, because my Polar F4's were always giving me trouble.

Caitlin, I'm so sorry you now have a cold:( Take care of yourself!

Thursday was a 47 min. walk & today was 21 min. cardio, 17 min. stretch & 12 min. meditation!

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!

Take care & hugs,
Cathy

Because of how I felt

I only did the upper body portion of Muscle Max. I think I told you the plastic surgeon made my breasts too big, and I found out it was too late to sue him. I should have thought of it long ago, so it is partially my fault. I have pain killers now but they are not that good, and, of course I can't take them every day, because you can get addicted and they stop working. I did not take them today, but I will tomorrow. I hope I can kick this cold fast, but with the awful heat in this building, I don't know.

Yesterday was a 33 min walk:) Not sure what to do for today though

Caitlin: Great for being able to Muscle Max upper body!

Renee: Way to go on HS & Yoga! Which yoga did you do?

Jane: Hope you are doing well! Miss you!

Take care & hugs,
Cathy

Renee I sent you a PM!

Oh wow im so excited u did a step workout!

Oh you asked what yoga it was the ultimate yogi foundations. Thers is three workouts in that one. I only have done the first one i think since tomorrow is a rest day i will do another yoga tonight to stretch and lossen up. That will give me length in the muscle then 24 hour rest before moving on to week 5! Hoo see yall i am going on 5 count them 5 weeks on a rotation! Lol cant believe it myself! Today was cardio leg blast so yep ened werk 4 with a good one. I am only slightly sore from chest back n shoulders sat. Hum cant wait for tabatasize.. Problem is i wont be able to do 5 tabats so i want to do a low intensity step then add a tabata to it to get cal burn and get used to the tabats. Not sure yet.
Have a good day all.

Good morning ladies! Well, it has warmed up here today, but it's raining like crazy.
Cathy: Yay! You were able to do a step workout! How did it feel?
Caitlin: I'm so sorry you have a cold - those are miserable! Do you take Vitamin C? I always start taking extra is I feel I'm coming down with one. I swear it helps shorten the length of a cold (at least for me!).
Renee: Super, super job on sticking with the rotation! I actually think I'm going to try to start the 90 days one myself - tonight! I did Burn Sets yesterday - Bi's & Tri's & then I added on Shoulders. My elbow is talking to me, but it talks to me all the time anyway, so I figure what the heck, I might as well just soldier on! :p;)
My granddaughter graduated from Basic Training (Navy) & is now stationed in TX. She is going to be an MP. My other granddaughter joined the Army Reserve last year. I'm so proud of both of them!
So, wish me luck with the 90 day rotation - not sure yet if I want to follow all X Train, or if I want to do the one that combines the Low Impact series. I'm going to go scope out the forums & look at the posts to see how people are liking the different rotations.
Keep up the good work, ladies!
Take good care & HUGS!

It took two

It took two rounds of antibiotics to kill the infection, and now I still am coughing from the cold. No cardio today, maybe a short leg workout.

I have to brag a little here

I just gave my wonderful son his graduation present for his degree in Economics. Then he bought me a Yankee Candle and he gave me a 25 dollar CVS card. In the spring, he will get two more degrees, one in Finance and one in CPA accounting. He also has a severe perceptual disability, as he cannot recognize whole words in his mind; he has to sound them out. His guidance counsellor in high school said that his disability was so bad, and it was as bad as his IQ is in the genius range. Thank you for reading. I still feel lousy so I am not doing anything today.

Oh, I have to say all of this took him a very long time, and he is 27 now.

Today was 90 min. snowshoeing with the dogs!
Felt great to be outside:)

Jane: Congratulations on both granddaughters in the forces:)
Good Luck on your XTrain rotation:)

Renee: Great & congratulations on completing(sp?) 4 weeks of XTrain:) I'm looking forward to your next 4 weeks!

Caitlin: Congratultions on your son's degree:)
I hope you feel better soon!

Take care & hugs,
Cathy

First day of the 90 day rotation (undulating) is in the books! Chest, Back & Shoulders - I had just done Burn Sets Bi's Tri's & had added Shoulders, so I worked them 2 days in a row, which is a no-no, I know.
Caitlin: Congrats on your son's degree(s)! You must be so proud of him! It sounds as though he had to work doubly hard to get them, so good for him! Yay! I hope you start to feel better soon.
Cathy: Snowshoeing sounds like such fun! Our snow is all gone. It's 54 degrees here this morning, but still raining. How are your dogs doing?
Renee: How are you doing? Any tips or pointers from you on the rotation would be appreciated. How's your dad doing?
Take good care, ladies, & big hugs to you all!

Hi Jane no pointers except maybe a warning that u may feel u need more cardio. Im thinking of adding some step on the bis and tri days and on week five i see tabatas coming up i may only do one or two and add on a walk or a light step to help burn more calories. I cant see only doing one tabata and thats it. Imo anyhow. Other then that i just keep focusing on doing whats on cal and not qiestion it. I still havnt lost weight and im getting frustrated. Thats y also im gonna addd more cardio on days that are short wo.
Im glad uh decided to give it a try.. I hear people say it wares them out but i find it must be better then what i put togehter because i feel it is lighter then my rotations meaning i have more energy to spare. That is unusual for me latly. For two yrs now i have had zero energy. But following cathy xtrain rotation i have more. Now it may change if i add mpre cardio, but i figure first add it to bi n tris then wait and see how i feel .. So on.

Thank you all

Billy is learning disabled, and it has taken him more than seven years to do this. In the spring, he will also get a degree in Finance and CPA accounting. I still feel unable to work out. I am seven pounds over what I should be, and my BMI is 21.7 when it should be 20. At least I still fit into my size 1 jeans. I am 5'1" and I am 117, and I should be no more than 110.

Today was 45 min. Snowshoeing with the dogs & 56 min. of Yoga:)

Jane: Great on your workouts How is your elbow?

Hope all are doing well:)

Take care & hugs,
Cathy

Very glad your son has pulled thru all that.. He sure needs to feel proud of himself for that accomplishment! That is a testiment to what fortitude is! Perserverence for sure. And thats good ur are still in a 1 holly cow!

Hi Cathy you are snowshoeing? Thats awesome and over 50 min of yoga? Thats wondergul, so how are you feeling now?

Jane how are you today? Hope, elbow is doing good still eek..

Im,supose to do chest back n shoulders today. Soo we shall see. I plan on it. Lol. Bbl to let you all know

Billy is really such a good son

I am so proud of him, and he could not talk when he was 18 months old, and there was a special state funded school for tots like him. I feel so bad that I put a baby still in diapers on a little yellow school bus, but, even when I am a teacher, I still could not teach Billy. The special school had Billy talking within three months. I had Hooked on Phonics and everything, but I was not a teacher for the learning disabled. All I have is an M.A. in British literature from New York University, which ranks now as the third best university in New York State. It is hideously expensive now, and I was lucky that most of my tuition was paid by scholarship. Although I cannot hang a shingle out as a therapist, I am still glad that I did my work in Psych, and I can diagnose my ex husband. Laughs. I hope, by the end of the week, I can start to work out. Meanwhile, I am taking iron, B12 and C, and I must be crazy to have two cats, when I am allergic to so much. I take allergy pills every day, and I am still taking my cold pills. The high schools, I know I am repeating myself, are so dangerous in New York City.

Lol i bet u cann diagnsis ex lol.
Wow i love animals so id have them to even if i was alergic ..lol. ,
My son was LD also he is the 24 yr old. I wish id been able to get him help. I tried everything. Amd the school claims they want parents involvedd? Not his last high school. Thats another story...

Good morning, ladies! Yesterday evening, I did Cardio Leg Blast. Well, drat, I was so shocked at how weak my legs have become. They were so strong before, but that's what I get for taking 3 months off...:( Anyway, I did get through it. It felt good to actually look forward to going home & working out yesterday. My elbow is tender, but hasn't gotten unbearable like it did during STS, but I'm still going relatively light with my weights since I was off so long.
Cathy: Great job on the snowshoeing & yoga! Wow! Hopefully, that means you're feeling a bit better & stronger?
Renee: Glad you're still going strong with X Train. Don't worry about the weight not coming off yet - the more muscle mass you build, the more efficiently your body will start to burn fat.
Caitlin: You must be so proud of your son, Billy. Kudos to you to getting your son the help he needed. It's wonderful that the help was available to you. Some schools don't offer the help, as in Renee's son's school. Unfortunately, if you don't fit in with the average, sometimes you get shoved aside & left to cope on your own... Hope you feel better soon!
It's raining here again today, but still warm - 54. Thankfully, we didn't get the extreme high winds that Tennessee did!
Take good care, ladies, & have a great day! HUGS!
