Today I did SJP/SB Premix:Circuits #1 using 3-5# DB & 9# Bar for triceps!
Finished with Yoga Relax Premix:#2

Sorry I haven't been around - I went to a seminar on Saturday, then spent yesterday, after Church, cleaning the house. I HAVE to do a workout tonight, or I won't get back into it! I think that's why I hate to miss a work out - I know I lose motivation!
Cathy: GREAT JOB on the workouts!!!!
Renee: Sorry, but I've never tried Jari Love's workouts. I agree with Cathy, that High Reps is a great one, if that's the kind of workouts you prefer. I would love to go on a road trip, too, but I don't know that I could ever afford one. I should start saving right now - for 2013! I would have to go before I get WAY too over the hill!!! LOL:D:rolleyes::eek: I hope your foot is doing better - are the shoes helping at all?

Jane. It really isnt my type im just trying to find something to do til i can hit full Cathy lol. My shoes are good but i still have pain in my heal. I will give it til my intiinflamatories run out if im hurting then i plan on doing cortizone shot then.
I know what u mean about missing a workout.. i really think that is why i freak if i cant exercise. Im all or nothing.. that is bad i know but just the way im wierd i guess.

I did High Step Training yesterday evening. It's a really good circuit workout, 5 circuits, but after 3 circuits & 3 sets of Leg Presses, I said enough, & fast forwarded through the last 2 sets! I finished the last 2 circuits, just not the leg presses! HA! :rolleyes::p It still was an hour long workout!
Cathy: I hope you're feeling OK today after your tough workouts! Is it still really cold where you are?
Renee: Do you like yoga at all? I don't know if that would be something you could do with your foot or not. Did you have an MRI done on your foot? Maybe it's not PF?
It's overcast today, but it's going to be in the 60's, so I'll take that!

We are a little cool! The wind is a tad nippy! We are suppose to be expecting rain later today!

Renee: Any Cathe workouts you can do now, maybe you should try, because then when you can go all out, you would be able to give it your all & really get an excellent workout! Sort of like a rehearsal!:)

Hi Jane to answer ur question yes MRI done because I was diagnosed with osteopnea at 38 and have history of stress fractures that was done after the x ray. Nothing there. Just torn ligiments showed up.

Cathe. I have been doing her upper body. Just don't cure the craving I supose. I have appointment Wed.
By the way I really like the high step workouts.

I did Low Impact Circuit + the Bonus Cardio section yesterday evening. Whew! I looked like that picture I posted on Facebook! Me on the ground & a sweaty mess!
Renee: I'm glad you had the MRI - you can never be too careful, I guess. What is osteopnia?
Cathy: Great job on the workouts! Does working out help loosen up your muscles?

I got the shot today.. I must say I hope by tomorrow it is better. My doc said it will be sore
But I am surprised at that because most info I got from people was that it is a miricle shot. Well I have to ice it again tonight. We shall see tomorrow.

Another gorgeous day here, I'm happy to say! :D
I did the first premix listed on Butts & Guts yesterday evening. Ouch!!! I read a post yesterday where the girl did Butts & Guts twice a week for 6 months, which reminded me I hadn't done that one for a long time. I'm glad I went for the premix, though! I'd never have made it through the whole thing!
Cathy: I hope your back is feeling better today.
Renee: I'll be anxious to hear how your foot is doing today since you got the shot yesterday. I sure hope it helps!!!

Today was Cathe's SJP Premix:#6 Step & Weights + Cathe's Yoga Relax Premix:#2!:D Went well, but, my back is stiff & doing "the wag the dog" doesn't work too good on one side! Have to keep trying!:)
It's sunny here now but, we had white frost overnight, so it's a little chilly this morning!

Jane: Absolutely great on Butts & Gut:D

Renee: It's possible the shot will react differently on different people! Be very careful you don't get too wild, because if you can't feel the pain you might do more damge!

Catherine that SJP is one fun workout. Question how do you
Manage squats with barbell and the bent over rows with Back problems? I found my lower back hurts I know its because its weak and abs are weak. Just wondering it sounds very painful what YouTube are going threw.
Jane.. that is great on butts and guts. I heard that is hard. I don't have that one. To scared of it! LOL

I have not got to grow crazy yet. I can still feel pain so I'm afraid now. Im going to go walking tomorrow I think , to see what happens.

I do feel more relief but it feels like I can feel it pull on the back of heel.. and it hurts to push off.. hard to explain. Tomorrow will be better.. I just thought this was goonna work. Disappointed I can't be The majority is all.

Renee: Had to come on & answer your question! I used DB's for the legs in this week's workouts & when I do Squat Rack DVDs, I use a weighted vest plus wherever possible I hold my bar in front! Because of circuit week my weights have been 3-5 #s DB & a 9# Bar for tricep extensions! The tricep extensions is the only exercise where I've used a Bar this week!
Do you wear a lot of high heels?(wondering about pain in heel)

Good afternoon! Another gorgeous day here! Helps with the mood, even if I can't get outside to enjoy it.
I did Pure Strength Back, Biceps & Abs yesterday evening. I know it's Circuit week, but I hadn't done anything in the Pure Strength series yet, & I was getting antzy! LOL:eek: I enjoyed it. I'll probably do a HiiT workout this evening, then Saturday will be Clean Max (again....). My DH keeps pressuring me to hire a cleaning lady. I have to admit, it takes a lot of the enjoyment out of my weekend...
Renee: I'm so sorry to hear that the relief wasn't immediate for you. Hopefully, it will get a bit better every day!
Cathy: I know what you mean about the wag the dog thing - some times it hurts!!! Great job on the workouts! You knocked it out of the park with all those!!!
I now have to be much more careful with my diet - one of my test results came back showing that I'm at increased risk for diabetes. The nurse told me that I can still turn this around by avoiding sugar & a lot of carbs. So! Now I REALLY have motivation!!! I'm looking at this as a positive! ;)

Cathy I never have been able to ware high heels. I had hammer toes and bunion for as long as I can remember. I had to have surgery when I was 28 they broke n reset my big toes on both feet. Then the little toe they took a piece of bone on both feet. I think that made the Biomechanics change. I feel doomed with bone problems LOL that is another story. Don't want to bore you with that.
I ran slow today I jogged 12 minutes is all then 3 minutes walking.. then 12 jogging and walk 5 for warm up and cool. Down. My GPS said my pace was 11.20 not to bad for getting back into it.
I still hurt.... I am just gonna keep icing It. I really need to find a spin class to.
I wondered what was a correct weight for circuit.. I go to heavy at times or to light.. hard to find right one.
 
Hello ladies,
I did Intensity's Hi & Lo HiiTs yesterday evening. Unfortunately, I injured my back. It feels like a disc problem - it's not muscle. I've been icing it all day, & I'll go see my chiropractor on Monday. Meanwhile, I got out of cleaning the house this weekend!!! Gotta look on the bright side, right???;) Needless to say, I didn't work out today, & will rest again tomorrow.
Renee: I usually go pretty light on weights in circuit workouts - 5 to 10 pounds. I start with 5, & see how it goes. I write down what weights I use & make notes as to whether I feel like I could have gone heavier, or need to go lighter next time. How's the foot after your jog?
Cathy: Any workouts scheduled for this weekend? Did you ever hear about PT? How's your back doing?
I saw that Kick Max was the Daily Deal of the Day, so I ordered it.:eek: :p:rolleyes: I had been waiting on that one to come back around.
