**ONE DAY AT A TIME** APR 8 - MAY 5

Good morning ladies!
Just got in from the dentist - always feels good to have clean teeth & a "Look Ma, no cavities!" report!!! LOL:D
I did Pyramid Lower Body yesterday evening. Now I remember why I don't like to do this one very often. Changing my weights umpteen times!!!!! :p But, boy oh boy, it's a good workout!!!
Cathy: I hope you're feeling a bit better today. Did the storms come through? We had a couple of bad storms last night!
Renee: How's the foot doing?
It's supposed to be hot & humid here today - there's not a cloud in the sky! I can always tell when it's humid - I can hardly get my rings on & off! We may have to break down & turn on the A/C tonight.

Today was Step Blast & Pyramid Upper Body:) I did these as Intervals, so it meant swapping the discs around some! But it was a great workout!:) Finished with KV's Yoga Stretch!

Jane: Great job on Pyramid Lower & the dentist;):)
We did get a T-storm around 4 p.m. & we've still got a couple of puddles yet! Hopefully it'll cut down our risk of fire for a couple of days! There was a fog early this morning too:( I had to quit wearing rings years ago because of the swelling in my fingers! So some people may think we're not married!

Renee: I'm anxious to hear which workout you decided on or did you do something different? Is your foot still burning or has it subsided?

Cathy I love step blast I hope to get to it again soon.
I tried kickmax I did good till I got to do jumping jacks. I Cant jump at all yet. I stopped and had to the low impact step and body sculpting. I have to stick with the begginers I guess. It hurts now when I lift off... hmm it seems to be moving LOL. I jogged for three miles today with no problem. I still feel slight pain.. but not like when I jump. Like on the step doing pendulum causes pain. Hmmm. I did do spin yesterday at the YMCA. I may try to pay for a month because it is something to do til I can do my beloved bodymax2 and imax2. Love those and miss them.

Jane I to got my teeth cleaned! I love it. I am a dental assistant by the way. And I am a CMA as well. I love dental assisting but what I do now is front desk. That is boring to me. I so miss doing bloody surgical proceeders LOL.

Oh I don't like a DVD u have to keep changing equipment either.
My tv broke got Sears in and got it fix for nothing ...thanks to extended warranty I bought that hubby Saudi we didn't really need. LOL. Have great day ladies

I didn't do a workout yesterday evening. Our house was so hot (87), that I knew by the time I got the work out room cooled down, it would be time for dinner! The A/C in the room has a timer, so I set it to come on later today (before I get home)! I just cannot work out if I'm too hot.

Cathy: I got a chuckle out of your comment about some people not knowing you're married. I can see where that might happen! You really knocked it out of the park with that work out! Did you like doing it that way - as a circuit?
Renee: Hopefully, your foot will keep getting better & better! At least you know not to try to jump for awhile! It must be the force of lifting off that hurts more than the force of coming down on the foot. What's a CMA? Good job on overriding your DH about the TV warranty! Bet he's glad you bought it now!!!!

Today I did Petra's Boot Camp Boogie Express 1 & 2! I enjoyed this one!:)

Jane: I can't workout in the heat either! I did enjoy yesterday's workouts as circuit style! I was hoping by mixing it up that way, my back might be happier! It does however add time on with the changing!

Renee: Great on the run & your foot isn't hurting as much! For jumping jacks you could try low jacks(at least it's what we use to call them)! Great you are enjoying the spin & are able to take classes!

Good morning, ladies,
Yesterday evening, I did High Step Challenge, Premix #1. I liked it much better than High Step Training (not so many leg presses!). I used light weights for upper body, since the chiro still doesn't want me lifting any weights upper body while she works on my elbow. Got one more visit for that, on Monday, then I'll be able to lift again.
Cathy: I'm glad you really enjoyed your workout - makes all the difference, doesn't it, when you're not just gutting it out! Do you think that splitting the other work out did help your back?
Renee: Hope you're still doing a bit better every day!
I can't believe another Friday has rolled around, but here it is!!!
Have either of you ever read anything by Jillian Michaels? I just started her book, "Master Your Metabolism". I'm just on Chapter 1, but so far, I like her writing style. & I DO believe that hormones can wreck our metabolism!

Today I did Kelly's Circuit Burn Premix: Combined Workouts & Zyrka L. Yoga!
It went well & I enjoyed both of these!

Jane: Great on the High Step Challenge!
By having to change discs around it gives my back a minute or two rest in between but, I guess I could pause a disc too, although that feels like cheating:eek:;)
I have 4 of Jillian's books! I don't have her latest one!

Hello... I was going to do after
Burn but had company. So at end of day I jumped On elliptical for 30 minutes ... may jog tomorrow ... foot still not 100 %.
 
I also think hormones have a lot to do with things. I am sending healing thoughts to everybody here. My foot is taking, it seems, forever to heal, and it is about two weeks now, and I can't do any more than half an hour of cardio three times a week. I am doing, I hope, the right thing for me, and I am on HRT. I was out of it for a while, and I felt much worse. I do exactly what my doctor wants me to do, and I get a mammogram every six months. All I know is that I feel terrible without them. Good luck with feeling better, all.
