The heat and humidity I can handle. Yes I'm rather sick because I somewhat enjoy it as I equate it with summer. (I actually feel really cleansed when I power walk or run in the heat and humidity, but I know I am in the small - or nonexistent - minority.) Much like the smell of a spring rain storm and the quiet sound of beautiful snow blanketing the cold, waiting ground. And I agree - there is nothing like the cool nights, crisp mornings, and warm fall days where you can wear shorts and a sweatshirt - love that. But it's the "laziness" that I hate to see rush away. Love letting the kids sleep in, go swimming when we get there, ride amusement park rides, enjoy a cool glass of wine with a spritz of lemon on a warm night where daylight seems to last forever, and kick back a little bit. I wait all year for it - and I love it. Aahhh - gotta hang on a bit longer.
