I have the Intensity series...and to be hoenst, have done them, but only kinda off and on...though that being a man i should really concentrate on the weight training side of things, etc... and thought that i probably couldn't build any/much lean muscle mass with Cathe workouts. I was/am wrong!!! Is Cathe human??? I mean really? Has anyone tried bootcamp doing only cardio??? OMG!!! I could only make it through the warmup and cardio section 1 & 2 before i was about to die! Cathe are you from this planet?!!!? Where did you get all that strengh? Has anyone actually managed to do Bootcamp cardio by itself without having heart problems...i would love to know. Recently i have bought many videos from different instructors, etc..and found almost all of them to be very poor indeed. From now on the only people i work out with are Cathe and Karen Voight...xxx

I just did this workout this morning and I love it.
PLB Up only (no floor work)
10-10-10 cardio only and no step.
Cardio only Bootcamp
PLB floor work and stretch

It works out to be a little over an hour. It is a great workout but you need a lot of energy that day.

I LOVE Boot Camp!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's one of my favs!! I did IMAX2 this morning and WOW!! Every time I do that one I get stronger and stronger, and I feel ENERGIZED all day long!! The Intensity series is AWESOME!! I can't wait to find out what cool suprises await me in the Body Blast series!! The toughest decision I face every day is which Cathe workout to do!! LOL!!

I do BootCamp regularly and add the Cardio only option into other workouts like what alandrum wrote. Keep at it and you'll eventually work up to it.

On days I really want to get the intensity going, I'll run through the BootCamp cardio only twice in a row...it's a short workout but, man, it gets this old heart thumpin' and lungs pumpin' !!

Cathe is a genius!

I was actually thinking about doing this combo for a good lower body.cardio circuit workout. What do you guys think of it.

Plb leg press up only
Bootcamp cardio only
PLB lunges up only
10-10-10 kickbox only
Plb squats up only
10-10-10 hi low only
PLB dead lift up only
Bootcamp cardio only
calfs
ball work
bootcamp abs only

What do you think?

I do it once and than kickbox premix and do it again it comes in a little over 20min. with kickbox added.I also love to do only the blast from imax1 and 2 since I have the tapes I don't rest I use that time to ff to the next blast infact just did imax 1 and found it not as heart thumping today.I guess getting use to it .BC is the absoulute best intense cardio inmo.

I like to throw in the Boot Camp cardio only premix after the MIC hi/lo segment and the 10-10-10 hi/lo segment.

I also like to do the Boot Camp cardio/lower-body only premix after I-Max 1 warm-up and Power Circuit circuit segment.

Sure, Cathe's human! She's an American Woman!

Boot Camp is one of my current favorites! I am scheduled to do it in a few minutes. I can now do it without feeling like I am going to puke and I can go all out on the cardio portions and I've upped my weight. Don't get me wrong there are still sections where I think I'm not going to make it. I used to have to take extra rests...so keep at it....it will get better and then you will have more fun doing it! LOVE this workout!:7

I think your combo looks so good I'm going to try it tomorrow!

Thanks for the idea! Don't you love all the mixing and matching? - DVD's have changed my life!

Hi i assume you have DVDs and are talking mixing the workouts like that or was this a premix Cathe has on the DVds I just ordered my first 2 dvds and am looking forward to all the options I got terminator and the power hour. MIS and body max 1 I have all of these but wanted DVds for all the options w/out all the hassles

Now, I'm printing this off for my husband. He was just promoted in his field of construction and since he won't be working as hard wanted to start working out. I suggested Cathe, but he was a bit skeptical...we'll just wait and see on that one :)

You watch the workouts (or i do) and think "these aren't/don't look that hard". Then you do them! Ouch...the pain. I love ME for the biceps. 20lbs never felt so tough...ouch ouch ouch and i love love love the face on Brenda (i can feel her pain!). I have been looking over all the rotations and am gonna use Cathe as my main workouts. I enjoy yoga, but add it in at the end for a good long stretch (the stand pose flow from Ali McGraw yoga tape, tis only about 11 minutes long). I am going to buy the body blast series on dvd and see where that takes me. Is there a rotation on here for building muscle size/strength? You ladies who can do the cardio only of bootcamp (dvd) really have my respect...you rock!!!

Well, I did all the cardio from bootcamp and found it too intense and over too quickly - so now (when I have extra energy) I do:

the cardio from All Step
the cardio from 10 10 10
then, the bootcamp cardio - but I pause the dvd for 60 seconds & jog in between - this keeps my heart rate up - but at a better rate for me.

I am getting so addicted to the intensity of CTX cardio!!! I love it! I remember a while back reading Aquajock's favorite mish mosh(? sorry AJock I can't remember exactly what you called it) and thought - that's NOT possible - but now after working consistently, I know that it is!!!! Thanks to all of you advanced exercisers who have shared your rotations and ideas, you have really helped me progress!!!
