Ok, ok, I lied!!!

I think, in a moment of insanity, that I mentioned here that someday I'd probably get rid of my Cathe's because of the great gains I had with the X.

I lied. Or was abducted by an alien that day. Or my blood sugar was low. Or something. :) I did MuscleMax today, and while it wasn't nearly as difficult as I remembered it being, I had a GREAT time, and was smiling like an idiot working out with Cathe and the crew again!!!! I just love her, no matter what! So, she's not my go-to workout series when I want to focus on serious strength building, but that's just FINE! I need variety! And workouts for other goals, like endurance, fat burning, etc.

Not only am I not getting rid of old Cathe, I just pre-ordered not one, not two, but the ENTIRE new series, and tossed in BootCamp and MuscleEndurance for good measure (I know, I can't believe I don't have this one either!)!!!!!!!

m,

I just finished my 3rd week of P90X. I've read just about every thread available before bidding on these workouts on ebay. You and Kathryn have provided great information which certainly helped make my decision to even attempt these! I do like Tony and have already notice strength gains using my bands but I need to buy heavier weights this weekend.:) I mix Cathe in for cardio and abds but otherwise have tried to stay true to the P90X rotation including yoga which I never dreamed I'd like.

Cathe has been my personal trainer for just over a year now and I so enjoy working out with her and the crew! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Bootcamp and Muscle Endurance-I know you will, too.

Hey Diana -

So recovery week here you come! I'll let you in on a secret ... it is NOT that easy! Glad you are doing X. I'm finishing week 6. My strength gains are amazing :) woo hoo!

Agree Michelle and Kathryn were VERY helpful.

Hi, Robyn!

Oh, man...that's what I was afraid of. Did you sub at all during the recovery week or do as written?
I did the Step Blast Challenge twice through this morning and then went to learning IMAX3 (can't do all the blasts yet!) I was drenched but Cathe is so much fun even when she's pushing you to the extreme.

Well, I'm ready then...thanks for the heads up :)

Diana

I KNOW!!!!! It's incredible that I don't have these yet. It shipped on Friday, and should be here Tuesday!!!! I smell a modification to my rotation this week!!!! TLT's BBBB is definitely getting bumped this Friday. :)

Between this and my new bike (!!!), I'm a kid in a candy store. SO excited about my new toys!

Hi Diana -

I could have just been me - others found it a recovery week. I guess I like the lifting a lot so it would have been more of a rest if I could give up say yogaX :)

I like reading others threads to see what is in store :)

Funny at first I didn't think I was going to do the diet and I thought I'd be subbing in other workouts but it's working for me following it quite closerly.

M - how do you like this weather we are having nice huh :)
I'm thinking of doing doubles maybe 2 times this week - would you use anything from the masters for it. I don't want to do cardiox both days. I'm going to take my 35 day pics today! A bit late!

I HATE YOU ALL!!! (not really)

I want to get P90X really really bad but can't afford it right now...maybe Santa will bring it for Christmas.

I'm just nearing the final stretch of the weightloss period of LA Weightloss(very expensive but have found it to be worth every penny) & would love to jump into a P90X rotation. Based on what everyone says about it, I think it would take me to all new fitness heights.

Hmmm, I had told DH I wanted a new watch for Christmas...maybe I should just change my mind.

edited to correct typos.

Robyn - amazing, isn't it? Love this weather!!!!

For doubles from Masters, Core Cardio is fun, as is Cardio Intervals - those would both be suitable subs for CardioX, for sure!

Hi Michelle,

Glad to see you are enjoying Cathe again and haven't given up on her. Cathe and P90x are such different types of workouts. I've done Cathe on some of my P90x cardio days. I always enjoy them. and BE and ME are good ones!

When are you doing another X rotation?

RE: I HATE YOU ALL!!! (not really)

Hi Johnswife

A bunch of folks will be starting a rotatation on 1/1/07! It will be my 2nd go round!

Maybe hubby will get you 2 things after all your name is after him :)

Deana,

I keep saying "later this fall." I haven't determined exactly when I'll start the next round. I want to be sure that I'm mentally ready for it again, and since I've found a rotation I'm really happy with and am incorporating more running, and now cycling, I'm pretty psyched sticking where I am for a while. I wouldn't be surprised if I don't start until the new year, with the rest of the gang - there seems to be a big group of people doing just that, which would be REALLY fun!!! As long as I'm happy with my current rotation - and I have so many workouts to play with again! I won't get getting bored anytime soon, and I think Cathe will be perfect for maintainance, so I'm not worried about losing strength - I'm not necessarily in a HUGE rush to start again.

That said, I miss Tony. :)

Michelle -

I know what you mean about mentally being ready for it- getting into the X frame of mind! The program does require a lot of physical not to mention mental energy and discipline. I'm glad you are happy with your current routine and enjoying your other workouts.
When I'm done with P90x, I plan to try all the new videos that are coming out. And then I'll be joining you most likely jan 1st. I might do a P90x/Cathe fusion rotation this time. Listen to me, I'm only on week 5 and I'm already planning what I'll be doing when I'm done!
