Ok, NOW I'm nervous!

Thank you all for your kind words. The classes went fairly well today. My step routine (I THOUGHT) was pretty easy, but the ladies I think found it a little hard to follow. We ended up doing some moves up to 8 times in a row to get everyone on the same page. I think I was catering too much to the "weakest link", so next time I won't spend as much time on one thing.

Other than that, I thought it went well. I did forget a couple of things but tried to keep the "flow" going. Overall, I give myself a B+ for my effort. I have to say though, it was REALLY wierd to hear my own voice over the music. I had a hard time not wincing! That is going to take some getting used to!

Well, it's over, I'm relieved, and I'm off to take a nap and give my brain a rest!;)

Congratulations!

You will get used to the mic thing. Also, there is nothing wrong with doing moves 8 times in a row (sometimes I use that amount of repetition to give modification ideas). The biggest thing is to do exactly what you did, keep the flow moving.

BTW, when I teach step I always use notes and I have been doing it for years. I can do without but I like choreography and self reversing routines so I use notes. I do not use notes during my yoga or sculpt or other cardio classes (but do with pilates due to the need to memorize the order).

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am glad it went so well! It will get easier and easier each time you teach!

Hats off...I know I couldn't do that!!!
