I've hesitated about posting about my trip to Cathe's on Monday because I didn't want to sound like a gushing fool but I just can't help myself anymore. I have to share....
I got to the gym a little earlier than I thought I would. The place is just a normal smelly co-ed gym. Lots of cardio equipment, lots of weight equipment. Actually pretty small. But you can't miss it from the outside. There are pictures of Cathe from her tapes on the windows!!! Francine was supposed to meet me there--SHE WAS LATE!!!! I was so nervous I could almost die.
Finally, about 5 minutes before class was supposed to start, I went in & got my equipment together. Playing it cool, acting like I knew what I was doing. I grabbed a step, 4 risers & a bar with some plate. Francine finally came in.
This woman is a trip. She has so much energy & was so excited to be there! She introduced me to Cathe just before class started. Cathe didn't even hesitate--she reached out & gave me a hug like we'd known each other for years. Just a quick hello & it was time to get pumping.
The class was awesome. It's a lot like Power Hour, lots of low ends!!! Talk about burning in the thighs! Honestly, as much fun as I was having, I like Power Hour better. But to be in Cathe's live class was incredible. Before I knew it, the class was over.
We put our stuff away & Cathe had us back into the INNER SANCTUM!!! Where they ship the videos from. Here's a link to our pictures. We talked for about a half hour & then Cathe had to go get her boys.
It was a great experience. One I wouldn't trade for anything. Cathe invited us back on the 17th to take a kick box class with some other girls from the forum & then we're going to eat!!! How cool is that?!
ONE DISCLAIMER--the shirt Cathe is wearing is not available for sale. Apparently they only had one made up just for her. Bummer!!!
