OK I have a small problem

You should definitely get him a very nice gift (that you can afford), and send the happy couple your best wishes and apologies for not being able to attend. And when they get their wedding pictures back, make sure you sit down and look at evrey single one and ooohh and ahh over all of them.

Hi Maximus, I feel your pain! I just tried to worm out of my plans and no luck. I don't remember exaclty where your from, but I thought you mentioned you weren't terribly far away. Any chance you could attend the ceremony only then slip away and still catch the second half of the weekend? I can't imagine, a best friend being hurt over that? Anyway, Good Luck
