He saw what I want to order and about flipped out:+ I know that Pure Strength and Slow and Heavy are strength tapes for building muscles. What else is considered strength tapes? He can't even tell me if we are going DVD or VHS. For the same money I can get more VHS tapes than I can DVDS. Can someone tell me about the CTX series, is the weights on it more endurance with lighter weights or heavier? I am trying to keep my purchase under $100 but still get the most for my money. I have Power Hour and Circuit Max both on tapes, if I went DVD I would end up with the Power Hour, Body Max, MIS DVD and the Circuit Max/Cardio Kicks dvd. I really want the Slow and Heavy series but dh will probably not want to spend that much on dvds. If I went with tapes I am looking at Cardio Kicks, Body Max, MIS and Ab hits and then getting CTX upper body as the freebie :D . How does that sound, if dh goes for it??!!:p I don't want any tapes that require extra equipment, I have a step and barbell set and that is all and of course dumbbells.

Thanks for all input :D

I happen to think that CTX on DVD is a must have... it is just so versatile. Also have you thought of getting the Pyramids on DVD? These are awesome workouts.

If you want endurance get Muscular Endurance instead of Powerhour, it is more fun in my opinion.

For strength I would get Pure Strength or the Pyramids instead of Slow and Heavy.

The Circuitmax Cardiokicks DVD is great but not as well chaptered as the other DVD's. You may want to take that into consideration and order the Cardio and Weights DVD instead. Many more options and combos available to you for the price.

Just my 2 cents!

CTX strength portion is more endurance type workout. I think you want strength building workout instead since you don't have one already. I favorite is Pure Strength rather than SH since I don't have 30 mins per body part. I also like Pyramid -- I would get DVD on those just because the pre-mixes are GREAT.
