I woke up with some serious lower back pain this morning :( Yesterday I did Leg Blast and I felt fine through out the whole thing. I didnt feel like I pulled anything. Besides feeling winded the work out was great. I used 15 and 20 lb DB for the weight section. I am wondering what could it have been. I didnt do anything else yesterday. I am so bummed because I'm feeling a bit uncomfortable and wont be able to continue with my rotation until I feel better. :(

Are you doing the 30 day rotation? That is what I am doing and I did Legs yesterday too and feel ok. I did not use as heavy as you did.

I am sorry you aren't feeling good. I know it is a bummer when you want to exercise :(

I woke up that way last week and hadn't worked out. Apparently I injured myself sleeping?!?! My back is just starting to get better now. I'll wait until this weekend to start the new rotations just to be safe. Frequently with back injuries, you don't even know you did it until the next day. Ugh.

I've done something to my hip :mad: So irritated because now I'm going to skip the rest of the week. One legged moves are a bit painful and I don't want to take any chances. But I guess that gives me time to work on my rotation!!

I hope that you feel better soon. Hugs.

Thanks RapidBreath. I hope so too. Day 2 and still not feeling any better. I am using those IcyHot patches and some motrin but thats doing nothing for me. Will be going to the doctor's tomorrow if it still feels the same.

Thanks Trixoo! I do feel better today YAY! Still feel a twinge but not as bad as the last 2 days. It feels tender if I touch it.
Hopefully I can resume my rotation on Monday but I am terrified of hurting myself again. Do you guys think I should pick up where I left off? with Cardio leg blast just lighter weights?

I've had chronic lower back pain ever since I can remember. It's just a way of life for me now :(. What I've learned is that you can "do" something to your back and not necessarily feel it at that time, or even that day. Sometimes I still don't know how the heck I manage to strain my back :confused:. It could easily be a wrong twist, pull, move, step, anything really, and not necessarily "exercise" related. My advice (not to be taken over a doctor's advice of course) is to take it day by day, and see how you feel. Don't ignore the pain. If it's there, then doing lighter w/o's like Yoga and walking, may help to speed up the recovery process and get the tension out. Getting up and moving without adding unnecessary strain to your back (i.e -deadlifts with a 40lbs barbell :rolleyes:) should and does speed up the process. I'm not limited to any exercise right now (YAY!) so don't fear that you will never get back to "normal" because you WILL.

Wishing you lots of speedy recovery back vibes {{{}}}
