Oh so casual clothes?

What are you road trippers planning on wearing for causal street clothes Sat afternoon and evening?

I don't want to overpack, but I have a compulsion about forgetting anything. I have visions of me in stuck in the gym locker room,trying to stuff all my gear onto a teeny tiny locker while everyone happily Steps without me.
 
I am trying to keep it as light as possible for this trip. I tend to overpack and bring too much but this time, I am bringing only what I need. For casual clothes I plan to bring maybe a pair of shorts and a top and a pair of capris with a top.

I'm going with capris and a t-shirt and running shoes. We have to wear very soft-soled shoes in the studio for the pizza party anyway, so running shoes fit that bill. I did a trial packing on the weekend to make sure that I could fit everything into a carry-on bag. I figure if I forget anything, there are stores down there! Or is that just an excuse for shopping?}(
 
I'm going with capris and a t-shirt as well. Since it's supposed to be hot and humid, the lighter the clothes, the better, right? I keep worrying about being under or over dressed, but I'm trying to supress that! :)

Sounds like everyone else will be very casual, so that's what I'll plan on. I have the same worry about being over or under dressed as you, Lunacat. High school gym class was so much easier with the ugly, one piece outfits we all had to wear.

Are you all taking a seperate outfit for the evening, or wearing the same thing as for lunch?
 
I wish I could get away with a carry on! I am going to have to ckeck my luggage. I will be there longer and need a few more outfits plus extra workout wear for Friday morning too. I have not decided on any other classes, yet anyway. Plus I hope to do some shopping and will need extra space to take things home.:7 I hope I can find my luggage since this is new to me, and find my car, and my hotel, and the gym!:D :D
 
Robin - I'm wearing the same thing for the evening as for lunch. Hopefully, I won't spill anything on myself!
 
Cathe shirts that you already have, or that we are getting? I think I remember something about getting a shirt as part of the roadtrip package? Or has my feeble mind made that up?
 
Oh, Robin, you're right. I just checked my confirmation and it says "Cathe Road Trip T-shirt souvenirs". But I'm wearing my Cathe t-shirt I already have. Maybe we're getting special t-shirts just for the road trip? I would think so, since it says "souvenirs". YAY!
 
I remember it saying that too. That will be so nice!!

I'm a frequent traveler and can pack a week's worth of clothing in a single carryon (remember, you're allowed one carry-on and one personal item...this personal item can be a purse, a gym bag, a duffle bag, etc). So, take advantage of that. I will most likely pack one pair of jeans (for the plane and the evening), a pair or shorts, a couple of pairs of tee shirts (yes, I'm wearing my Cathe tee to lunch on Saturday), 5 outfits for the workouts, a towel, a water bottle, toiletries, my gym shoes, and a long sleeved shirt for the plane (it could be chilly on the plane).
