Oh my! So many workouts what's a girl to do??

I finished reviewing the first phase workouts of Bodyshred yesterday & did the first cardio - Fire Up , today, I'll start the regular rotation tomorrow. High calorie burner for me, and lots of things I usually like to avoid, ha. Jillian motivates throughout and I sense there is a real progression of intensity to come. When I finished I thought, I could've went harder, it definitely put me in a good zone and I even neared max heart rate. I couldn't help thinking it was just a perfect place for me to start, and I see myself as intermediate, to higher intermediate. Zuzana is in Fire 1 & leads the stretch at the end, the whole crew looks pretty tough.

No, bayerngirl, at the risk of enabling, you won't kill yourself. From what I did today, you could make it as tough as you want it to be, and there's plenty of encouragement to do that, I was drippin' wet by the end.
@ 400 calories in 30 minutes.

Great review! Thank you! Seems like Jillian has really kicked up the intensity in this series.

You can say that again, I burned almost as much in the first circuit, Launch. It is just. non. stop. The new move she introduces in Opus ( uber workout ) I kind of discovered myself today. I call it frog. splat. It's when you absolutely can do no more, and well, you get the picture. I would have easily burned another 400 calories or more in Launch if I could keep up & power through everything. (it was @ 370 calories/30 min) Just resolved to try everything, and everything that's hard.

You kind of just have to accept that you will fail, and you'll just have to try harder, well, I do, and it will get better. Even if it ends with a frogger, from time to time.

I'll be interested to see some of Cathe & Shaun T aficionados try it out (cause I know you guys are going to) it pushed me past my limits, multiple times, and generated the kind of heat I've only experienced running 5Ks. It's tough.

I'm definitely planning on trying it, but not until June or so because I'm 20 weeks pregnant. This + RWH are going to be my postpartum go-to workouts once I get the medical OK to exercise at these intensities again. Based on what you've described, I can't wait!

Oh congratulations! And to the little one for having such a fitness minded Mom! That's so exciting!

Thank you, 112toGuru and Clare. I very much appreciate both of your kind well-wishes! I'm finally to the point where the extreme nausea is behind me. Best of all, everything indicates that baby...or the alien invader in my belly, as I loving call the little one...is growing healthy and strong. :)

Hugs to you both!
