Oh my gosh! I like to have fainted!!

You ladies know I have been having a problem cleaning up my eating since I went to the beach. This week I finally started on Monday eating clean. Well yesterday before I went to go eat lunch I put on a pair of capri's and they were tight. My sides and my stomach were all bulging out of them. I almost cried. These were pants I wore at the beach 2 wks ago,and they fit fine. And it is not TTOM, in fact that was at the beach. I knew all the junk eating would catch up with me.

When I got back after lunch I was going to do a kpc/lg premix, knowing I shouldn't do it. But I was totally disgusted. I think when my friend called it was a sign not to exercise. My friend told me not to be stupid.

I know if I can't do cardio I will have to eat clean and do my weights. I just can't believe how that come on so quickly. I can't believe clothes I wore two weeks ago is tight. This is crazy! But I will not let it get me down.

I need all of your support. Which I know all of you have always done.

Kim,
I know that you can get back on track. Try to center yourself and tell yourself that setbacks happen and that you will not let it get you down, that you will battle back and that yes, you will wear those capri's again in no time. I know that you can do it. Good Luck!!!!

Also, maybe the pants shrunk a little in the wash. That happens to me sometimes and then they stretch out again. Don't get discouraged and just keep on keeping on. :D

Just jump back on the wagon here...there is plenty of room! LOL! Stick with the clean eating again and your workouts and all soon will pass. One can always start over. I was sick for a few days and couldn't eat so I kept thinking that my body was turning things into fat. I used my Omron over and over again knowing it would give me wrong readings anyhow with a virus..DUH! I'm surprised my hubby didn't throw that Omron away! LOL! Plus I couldn't work out for a few days and that was the worst for me! Just life!

I think that mot of us have been where you are, that is why we are here today! Sometimes you have to hit bottom to rise to the top. It makes the victory all the sweeter!

YOU WILL FIT THOSE PANTS AGAIN! I am wearing 8's for the first time since I had my third baby. After I had Logan, I weighed over 180 lbs. I haven't weighed myself in forever, but my prepregnancy clothes are only a tad snug now. It has taken over a year (since I started excercising and eating right) to shed probably close to 40+ pounds of fat, but I feel great because I know that I worked hard and earned it! You will to, and you deserve it!

I think I remember you were injured, but I forget all the details...what happened and why can't you excercise? I know that must be frustrating.

You'll be ok. Just hang in there. You'll get back on track in no time.
Use this to motivate yourself. NOT beat yourself up! That will just make things worse!

You can do it! Tell yourself ok the pants are tight but at least they fit and get the diet cleaned up before they don't fit! Basically scare yourself back into clean eating! We all will support you and be here to listen. I know you can't do cardio but you can do weights right? Do what you can and remember 2 weeks from now you can either be losing or still gaining. You know what you have to do and we will help you do it. BACK AWAY FROM THE JUNK!

Missy, I am pretty sure I have achilles tendonitis. THis has been 3 months ago and I still have problems. I've only been to one doctor I didn't like, so right now I'm wandering if they can do anything for it. I will soon do cardio, I hope!

Have you seen anyone else? I definately would if it has been three months with no relief! I feel so bad for you! I hope that it all gets figured out soon!

Kim, that's good you didn't do cardio you weren't suppose to. I know how you feel, when I broke my back I was going nuts with the weight I was gaining even though I was eating as clean as I could with my mother's cooking. (I wasn't allowed to lift anything over 1# so cooking was nearly impossible.)

But I'll share the slight no-no I did. Since I couldn't stand and do cardio, I laid on my back and did it. I laid on my back and pretended I was walking across the ceiling and moving my arms all about to help get my heart rate up. Then I pretended I was climing across the ceiling, yes I was bored out of my mind in that hospital bed, and I'm sure the nurses thought I was losing it. But I got my heart rate up, and it felt good.

Another thing, get a hand cycle, it will get your heart rate up and you'll be doing cardio, and you'll burn calories. Just with your arms instead of your legs. Or if you got a wheel chair around. Push yourself all over and as fast as you can go on carpet, it will really burn calories, as well. You still have a lot of ways to get that heart rate up, just use your head, it's not as fun as Cathe, but if your this upset with the weight, they your going to have to do boring cardio.

Or lay on a bench on your stomach, and pretend to swim, with arms and legs. Grab weights for your hands if you want to get the heart rate up more, and work your upper and lower back muscles at the same time.

And check with your doctor to see if he'll allow you to do some non-impact cardio like stationary biking, as the good leg can always do most of the work, until you get the other leg strong enough. If so, you might have a community center you can go and ride on a stationary bike, for a small fee.

And I'm still amazed that he's keeping you off that leg this long, I would really get a second opinion, it will at least reassure you, or it may give you some answers to ask and see which doctor is right, and you might get your workout back sooner.
