Has anyone had any problems with their ankles hurting while doing the inner thigh work on the stability ball section of PLB? I can't for the life of me figure out what I might be doing wrong. By the third set, my ankles REALLY hurt! Any suggestions would be greatly appeciated!
Is it above your ankles or right on your ankles? Wondering if possibly it is your inner shins?? Also, the side facing up or side facing down? Not sure I could answer even if I knew these, but for some reason, I remember a poster a week or so ago comment that their shins burned really bad while doing this. I am THINKING if it IS shins, it might be from impact work you have done prior to going to the floor??? Just an idea. I am headed downstairs in a few to do the stabilty ball work from PLB. That is, if I can quit reading all these threads! LOVE the new series!

It is the side facing down. I thought it might be from fatigue from a prior workout, but I did it this morning before doing any other workout at all. I've only been doing floorwork because I broke my toe last week. :+ I don't think trying to do that Bosu helped too much.
BTW, thanks for the garlic tip. It's worked wonders!
I just came up from doing the stability ball work from PLB and really concentrated on the inner thigh part. I could not feel it at all in my ankles??? It hurt majorly in the inner thighs though. I am assuming it is BOTH your ankles, right? Have you checked your positioning to make sure it is just like Cathe's? (I just found out this week that I was doing pikes wrong! I was rolling the ball way IN rather then pushing my rear UP into the air.) Also, do you dig your heels into the ball? The harder I dig my heels into the ball, the MORE I feel it in my inner thighs. I doubt this has been much help. Mabe you can post it to Cathe and see if she has any tips for you. Good Luck. How is your toe doing? BEEN THERE!! Do you have a B&TR? That is what saved me when I could not do any impact. Also, I am thrilled the garlic pills worked!! Has it helped your stomach also?
..I am wondering too if your ankles are hurting from trying your BOSU. That requires LOTS of balance which involves the ankles bigtime. Just an idea.
