Oh, How I Wept......

Hi All,

I watched Captain Correlli's Mandolin last night and how I snivelled, it was such a lovely, sad film :'( I snivelled all the way to bed. It was almost as sad as the book, with which made me cry throughout the last 6 chapters. But WHY did Hollywood change the ending ????????????

HOLLYWOOD SUCKS THAT WAY!!! I never read a book before seeing the movie.

I have to say that while I enjoyed the story, I love Nicholas Cage but felt like I could have done without him & his fake italian accent. That ruined the movie for me. I had a really had a hard time getting past that.

I asked the same thing of my DH last night, why did Nicholas Cage put on that awful, fake Italian accent ???????????? :-rollen

I LOVED that movie. Plus, I love Nicholas too so I looked beyond the "fake" accent! Great love story!!!
