WHAT WERE YOU THINKING, WOMAN?????
But seriously . . . I inaugurated one of the Plyo Legs routines (Week 2's) and added on the one-legged squat-thrusts and something else from Week 3, and that particular drill made me realize all over again how wonderful it is to work out in the privacy of my own home. Wonderful for the public, wonderful for me, in that no one gets to see The Bald One flailing around, legs flying all over the place, "jumps" that are little more than a heel raise off the floor (with the torso almost perpendicular to the legs), and let's not even talk about the number of squat-thrust-belly-flops.
And of course, that was one of the drills where I was really, REALLY gasping and panting, so that is one that I'll throw on the at-least-once-a-week column. (Along with the Rock Climbers, which totally rock!)
And finishing off the set with the Pilates-inspired routine, in which my Mermaids looked more like manatees . . . priceless.
Am really enjoying this new series!
