October rotation, Wed 10-12-2005

Hey Phyllis and the rest who follow,


I know it feels good when you can sleep that extra hour and not pressed to have to do something. I am looking forward to not working tomorrow and shopping! Did I mention shopping? That is always a favorite.:)

Today I have to make up some work from yesterday and try some cardio. I said I wasn't going to go through with this make up crap again! But cardio will be bike or step.

Well my plan was to get up this morning at 10 til 4 and start work at 4 but for some unknown reason, I set the alarm for 10 til 3 instead!!! Sooooo, I've been awake since then, started work at 3:30. Sometimes I wonder where my brain leaves and goes off to!

There isn't a premix of step combos only on IMAX2 and I've never sat down and figured out how to program my VCR, so I'll do something else, just don't know what yet. There is a LowMax step combo only premix so that will be part of my w/o. Maybe step from either Cardio&Weights or MIC.

If I have time, I want to do abs... PUB stability ball abs comes to mind.

Good Morning Phyllis, Kim and all the rest of the Babes!!

Today is step and I am putting together my own mish mosh..... I want to get in about an hour. Also , if I am feeling very energetic, I want to add some lower body. Well, I don't really WANT to, but I need to.;)

I didn't sleep well again last night and finally got up for the day at 4:00, so we'll see how the energy level is....right now I'm not impressed!;(

Gonna grab a quick bite of something and then get working out and I'll be back afterwards !

Today is an oldie but a goodie...Leaner Legs for me!}(

I'm going to visit an aunt of mine with Joey later...I just wish it wasn't rainy and cold. I hate going out in this weather and will hate to bring Joey out in it even more. :-( x(

I'm drinking my coffee now, trying to wake up...probably will do my w/o when Joey takes his nap....

Today was a step workout of my choice, so I did Franny 9905 Step workout and Cathe ab hits. My poor VHS copy of 9905 is just about shot, but I cannot bear to throw it away!

Ugh, you DID start your day early!!:eek:

My workout is over and I am BEAT! :p I ended up doing the step from bodymax and all of step heat. For SH I put the step to 8". That one starts off slow , but I really love the combos and really have fun with it. Then I joined Wendy and did Leaner Legs. That is a tough one, but I did notice it wasn't as hard to do as it used to be before last months rotation! And I want to work legs at least once a week through this u/b rotation too, to keep some of the strength I gained.

I'm drinking a chocolate/banana/peanutbutter protein smoothie...MMMMM!

Good morning Ladies!

I decided to do some things before getting on the computer this morning. I slept until 7:15! It felt great. Then got the boys off to school and here I am.

I'm going to workout soon as I get off. It's sooo dreary here today.

Hey Kim, how's your foot today? I see your planning to try step so I'm hoping it's feeling good. Just take it easy. If you can't step, do the bike.

I need legwork too so maybe I'll do Lowmax instead of step and PLB. I don't know yet. I have to decide in like 10 minutes tho.

Hey Kali and the rest of you Bliss girls!

Well, I have decided to reschedule the visit with my Aunt. It seems to have stopped raining here but it's still quite windy and cold...I know I can't avoid bad weather all of the time but since this is not a must, I will wait on the visit. Will go there by Monday for sure though!

I am doing some laundry today. I need to vaccuum upstairs as well as the stairs themselves...I tend to neglect the stairs because they are a pain in the neck but oh what dog hair is on them! I GOTTA DO THEM!

I bought a new comforter set for our bed over the weekend...we needed one BADLY...so I might go ahead and put that on. I was gonna wait for DH to help me because it has a bed skirt and they are a pain but I put the other on myself so I can do this one! I work out with Cathe...I am STRONG! }( :p

Well I opted for RS. I needed something fun to do. And Lowmax is not fun. I had to wring out my tank bra! I just had some ww angel hair and Italian green beans for lunch and I'm going to hit the shower and go get the boys some jeans. They wear the knees out soooo fast, they have tons of play jeans but none for school.

It's still raining here. Pretty dreary out.

I am very busy today so just a quick check-in for now. I am doing lowmax today and some abs from coremax then I think I will do the legs only pre-mix from Super sets. I will be back later!

For some reason I was dreading it and therefore putting it off but Leaner Legs is finally DONE DONE DONE!!! I upped my weights AGAIN so I feel some DOMS comin' on tomorrow girls! }(

I didn't have time to check in yesterday, but I followed the rotation and did S&H biceps/triceps.

Today I chose Step Blast. I really have gotten to the point that I have it totally memorized and pretty much don't mess up. Then it's not much of a challenge! I can't do this one very often for that reason, but I do like it!
 
Boy am I sweatin'!!! I did the step combos from IMAX2 (figured out how to do it on my DVD/VCR player - it doesn't program DVD, only CD (I have a cheap on), so I used the chapter search button after each combo and then put in the next chapter for the next combo, didn't slow me down much. Run time is about 21 minutes for this.

Then I did the Step combos from LowMax which is a premix and run time is 44 minutes

Total of 65 minutes and what a sweat! I was on the 6 inch step for IMAX2 but should have been on 8 since it was only step, then I went to 8 inches for LowMax.

HRM says I burned 497 calories.

Gone to the barn to feed the horse, then start something for myself.
 
WOOO HOOO Jane! GREAT workout! Good for you!

I know when I was doing LL this morning after my step *marathon* (ha) the sweat was dripping off my arms!! And I'm not really a big sweater.....but........HOOO BOY!

I just fixed a tuna wrap for my dinner, and had an apple and some l/f cottage cheese and tomatoes. YUM!

I skipped lunch today, because I was busy and not home and I do NOT usually skip meals-believe me ;-) so I was HUNGRY tonight!!!
 
YIKES! Tomorrow is MIC-which I don't have!!!!:-(

I was thinkin' about subs for this MONSTER and also searched the forum to see if this topic had been discussed...I am trying to decide between the following 2 options:

Step Blast warm up;
Step, Jump & Pump hi/lo add-on premix (cardio only, no weights);
Step Blast combo 2;
Step Blast combo 3;
Step Blast challenge, cool-down & stretch.

Option 2:

Circuit Max (skip the weight work)
followed by CTX Step & Intervals

Which one would you do, ladies?}(
 
Wendy, I don't know since I don't have circuit max or CTX S&I. The SB one looks good. I know MIC is indeed a monster. I've never seen anything like it!
