Good morning Bliss Babes!

I'm up and ready to get going again. Well the Yankees lost...:-( So that's it for them. But my Steelers won! Not by much, but they won!http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/_950/ole.gif[/img] YAY!

I'm going to do the hi-lo section of SJP and S&H Tri's and Bi's.
Then I'm off to work.

Kim, I'm loving my job. Everyone that works there is so nice. And I'm starting to get the hang of stuff now which is a big weight off my mind. I hate not knowing what I'm doing or where stuff is. And there is A LOT OF STUFF at Bed Bath & Beyond! x(

Good morning Babes!

Today is bi/tri S&H and I am adding abs and maybe some cardio. I SHOULD also add l/b , but there doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to workout all the parts that should be!!
Maybe my next rotation should be full body workouts???:eek:

Anyway , I hope you all have a great day today and I'll check back after my workout is done.

It's raining here again in south Jersey and I think it's going to be a pretty gloomy day.

Today was S/H chest/back - not too bad but I was shaking like crazy on the planks. They're tough on my lower back.

I am not so wide-eyed and busy tailed today. Guess I have the sleepy bug! Today I have SH tris/bis,LM if foot permits and maybe some abs.


Kali-I'm so happy to hear you are enjoying your job. Good to go to work and not dread it. Your cardio sounds fun. Can't wait till I can do SJ hi-lo again!:) will chat with you this afternoon!


Becky- I know what you mean about doing lower body. It isn't enough hours in the day to get all of it in. I will try to work it in today but it's doubtful!

Phyliss-I love doing planks until she starts just holding those suckers in some of her workouts. I want to say "just move it along woman!" I get a little angry sometimes, but I still love her!;-)


Might check back before I go to work, it just depends on time. If not see you this afternoon. Have great workouts!

Good morning UBBB's!!

I thoroughly enjoyed that 6-mile run yesterday. I do LOVE to run (hence my name) but I just haven't don't as much lately as I have in the past. The summer really put a damper on my running because of the heat and I don't have a treadmill.

I also got in CM#3 last night. I owed that one to me since I didn't do it at the end of the Sept rotation.

I believe I am subbing PUB today for S&H tri/bi. I'm just going to do the whole PUB w/o. This probably isn't a perfect substitution for this because of the different type of w/o but it'll still work my upper body. I may also do PLB also since I'm off. We'll see. I want to get some things done today, don't I always!!! but I always find the time slipping away. I have a hair appt today at 3:35 so I need to get everything done by then.

Well, I got on the scale this morning and my body FINALLY decided to drop that TTOM weight it was holding on to! :7 My BF reading went up a bit but hey...can't have everything...and I DESERVE that after the crap that I have been putting in my mouth as of late! }( I can't believe I dropped the weight even after the eating I have done! :eek: :+

So today the rotation calls for IMAX but I don't have that one yet (DVD is on my list for Christmas!:) ) so I will, ofcourse, be doing IMAX 2. I am afraid! :eek: I have completed this w/o in full before but I somehow usually manage to do only do a premix so it's been a while since I did it all! I hope I survive! }(

Ya know what...I am not sore from UBS yesterday and I certainly WORKED! YEAY! :) Does this mean I'm getting stronger??? }(

I needed a total body weight workout today, so I did MM, mainly because I woke up this morning with that song playing in my brain "Rhythm of the Night.."

My workout is complete. S&H tri/bi's and abs . I didn't rememeber that their were abs on the end of this workout, but it's not very long so I added abs from SJ&P . Also rode my stationary bike for 30 minutes.

I've had my *reward* smoothie - today's was chocolate almond, just added almond slices to a chocolate protein smoothie, was really good. :9

Now off to the shower to start the day!
 
Hello Ladies,

A cold morning here in Denver. We had about 4 icnhes of snow at my house yesterday. Tomorrow will be sunny again and in the 70's:) Today is S&H bi's and tri's and a run on the treadmill then maybe coremax1.

Kali-I am happy that you are enjoying your job. I love to shop at Bed Bath and Beyond. Are you getting into a routine with work etc.?

Kim-I hope you get to do lowmax. I know it makes you happy and you are doing so good it seems!
Wendy-YAY! the weight is gone! CTX upper body is fun to do I think. Time goes fast and it's a good workout.
Phyllis-planks are a good core workout but be careful of your lower back. I hate to do planks only because it seems I am just holding there, I like to be moving.

Oh yesterday with all the heavy weight of the snow we kept losing power off and on until evening. Very frutrating when you are trying to workout. I had to restart Imax2 twice!

I decided to stay with the structure of the rotation even though I don't have the S&H w/o's. So instead of doing PUB in its entirety, I did tri's and bi's only and then did tri's and bi's from the BB TimeSaver w/o which supplemented very nicely.


I then did PLB in its entirety and hello butt muscles. My glutes and hams are going to be sore tomorrow, I can already tell.

Off to get some lunch now!
 
I finished IMAX 2 a while ago while Joey was napping...I am still hoping to be able to do a section of Coremax but I have to eat something right now and then get to a little housework I have been putting off! :p

Sounds like you all had a busy afternoon! Work went well. I helped a few people today even tho I don't know what in the hell I'm talking about! LOL! I'm off tomorrow! YAY!

Kim hope you're enjoying LowMax. I love doing weights first because then cardio loosens me back up. But I don't think that'd be the case with LowMax. That'd be like torturing yourself after doing weights!x(

I love this crowd too. And it doesn't matter what rotation or workouts you're doing. Feel free! We're all friends here!

Wendy, glad the weight's coming off! What are you having good for dinner? I don't know what we're having yet either. I'm tired. I want to go for a walk but it's drizzling here. If it stops later I'm going.

Hi Terri! Must've been annoying losing power yesterday. Are you done working out for today yet? Must look beautiful there. Will the snow pretty much melt tomorrow? I love those kinds of snowfalls. They don't happen like that here tho. Not until March.

Hello Jane! That was a good mix you subbed for S&H! Good job. Yes you'll be feeling PLB tomorrow Girlfriend! Maybe I'll do it after my step w/o tomorrow.

Hey Phyllis, I like planks. Now that I can do them. They really make the difference on my mid section.

Hey girls,

I am so disgusted right now!x( I started lowmax and knew my foot wasn't going to corporate with me. I managed to go through the warmup and the first step combo and decided to stop it. My foot felt good this morning after that medicine went through last night, but I kinda sensed my foot didn't feel as good today as it had been. Hell I think therapy sometimes hurts it! No, I am just angry right now. I guess I will do the bike, but to tell you the truth I don't want to do a blasted thing! I know when I get let down I just shut down! And I don't want to do that because I know what happens then.


I just had to vent some, and have my little pity party! I have just been going through some things along with my foot and it's just overwhelming me. Okay that is it, I will cut this out! Eventually I will sound like blah!blah!blah!

Kim, take it easy. You're probably sore from PT yesterday. That was probably a lot for you to take! It's just like getting DOMS from a workout. Don't be upset. I know that's easier said than done. Remember it's gonna take a little time to adjust. Do your bike IF YOU CAN, and then do S&H. You'll be ok. :)

I'm GLAD you vent here! Don't apologize for it. Maybe it helps you to get it off your chest, and hopefully that's the case, and sometimes you can get some advice or feedback thats helpful too.
I know you aren't the only one here who is dealing with either an injury, or a chronic condition that sometimes makes it impossible to workout . In my case, I get migraine headaches. Not the same thing I know, because mine lasts 3 days and then its gone and I can workout again until the next one but I DO know what you feel like, that you WANT to workout and all of you feels like it but your body (foot, head, joints, muscles, whatever!) won't cooperate!!!! That's TOTALLY FRUSTRATING!!!!!!
I'm so sorry you are having a slow recovery , but you ARE making progress and you are doing a wonderful job of substituting workouts that you CAN do, and hanging in there, when A LOT of other people would have given up by now and just said " I can't exercise with this foot, so I'm gonna plop down on the couch with a bag of chips!!!" :-( You know it's true. So you need to give yourself a big pat on the back for trying so hard and not giving up and doing what you can do and above all, LISTENING TO YOUR BODY (so, SO hard to do at times!!! ) and stopping when you need to stop, so you don't further injure yourself!!!!!

I hope tomorrow is a better day for you!!!
