Good Morning Bliss Babes!

I'm having a coffee and then I'm going to do Coremax! I had every intention of doing cardio first, but my legs are tired from yesterday I guess. So it's all Core today. If I feel up to it I can always do some cardio after work. I never know what I'm going to feel like when I get home.

Kim, I'll PM you when I get home later. Sorry you didn't get my reply. But thank you so much for sharing with me. That meant a lot.:)

Good morning ladies,

Gosh I can't believe I'm up this early in the morning! I am ready to do coremax and probably abuse my poor abs! Dh could not believe I was getting up to do this. He said "you ladies are crazy!" I told him he should join me but his excuse was work.

After coremax today I plan on doing L&G and some type of cardio.


Kali-I too am going to get something on my stomach before CM. I hope I can finish it, but if not it'll still feel good to have done it.

Hello Jane,phyllis,wendy,conni,jeannete, and terri where are you at? Will you check in before coremax? I know you will do it anyway.


Check in after the abs!

Good Morning Babes!

I was up at 5:45.....I woke up and panicked because I thought it was a weekday and the alarm didn't go off and DD would be late for school !! Then I couldn't get back to sleep. :(

If DH doesn't wake up soon, maybe I'll join you "crazy gals" in your coremaxathon.
IF I do , it's all I'm doing though because I am tired from yesterdays workout , which for me was L&G's, KPC abs, and 1 hour on the bike!! LOTS OF LEGS!!!! and I feel like I've earned a rest day!!;-)

It might be a boring weekend around here.......lots of rain & chilly weather. :-(

Well, I'll let you know later if I joined you in torturing my abs!!

Hey guys, it is 8:15 and can you believe I slept until 8:00. I can't remember the last time I did that. I was so exhausted from getting up at 10 til 4 three days this week and working OT. I slept like a log, didn't wake up once. My w/o today will be yesterday's w/o since I had to switch and the stretch.

Becky I wish we were cooler here. 75 here again today but that cold front is finally pushing through this afternoon with the cooler temps. I kind of tired of 70's and 80's in October!

Off to get some breakfast. Good luck on the CM-a-thon}(

Oh, I know this isn't the clean eating thread but I had Mexican food last night and did good as far as the entree, DH and I split a Texas plate of fajita meat that had shrimp, beef, and chicken. I did, however, go overboard on the chips as usual. That'll never change. But they were good!:p
 
Hey ladies,

Well I did coremax and I still haven't been able to finish all three. I usually would change my sequence but decided to keep them in order and still couldn't complete the third one. I got half way through the last one but it feels good to of done what I did. Everything on me is shaking! And yeah I said I was going to eat something before it but I didn't because I wanted to start it early so I wouldn't get lazy. Doing the oblique lifts on the floor with the medicine ball made me almost hurl! I had to stop it! I know it was my endurance and not eating yet.


I will try legs and glutes later and will try the standing let work for the first time. I will decide as I go if I should use some light weight.


Okay terri and Kali, how did it go?

Kim, Due to the time difference I am just getting started today. It is 6:45 am here in denver. I am off to do the coremaxathon. GOOD JOB! You did more then the last time:) To get through almost all of them is great! Be proud. Ok I will check back in and say hi to everyone else then.

Hey ladies.

I am not doing my coremax challenge until Joey goes down for a nap so it'll be atleast an hour yet most likely. I really wonder how much of this I will get through!? So I have to do them in the order they are on the dvd to be fair, right?

I'll let you know how it goes! I'm afraid!:p }( :p

ETA: Kim, I can't do a pike to save my life! LOL In fact, I have yet to master the knee roll-ins even! :eek: I do the best I can though!:)

Good morning all,
Kind of slept in this morning and haven't worked out yet as DH and I have been watching the Weather Channel. We have a niece in Cozumel right now and we're hoping and praying she's okay.

Going to do CTX Upper Body this morning as tomorrow I have a beautiful fall color bike ride. Think we have a large group driving over for the ride.

Don't think I'll do Coremax, but you girls have fun. I really need to do Cleanmax and Woodmax instead.

Kali, how was your guitar lesson? Hope you enjoyed.

I didn't do coremax either. I almost wish I had. Instead I ended up cleaning out 2 freezers, and am working on laundry!!! I had piles of food EVERYWHERE!!! Where did it all come from???:eek:

Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed or are enjoying CM today! I'm going to rest or if dh wants to go, maybe get in a hike today. It's cleared up and the sun is out right now, even though it's still only in the 40's! BRRRRRRRRRRR

I just ordered two tapes ......Mega Step Blast and How to get in Shape for your Wedding. I just love new step tapes and even though I'm sure they're dated, I'm anxious to try them out. I don't think I can have enough step workouts. :)
I'm always so excited to get new Cathe tapes!!! I hope they get here fast!! :7 :) :D
 
Becky, I have the cardio hits dvd and they are definately dated but so much fun! I just ordered the classics, the wedding vid and step n motion 1(her very first vid!!!)! I'm very excited to try them as well. :) I also ordered some of her new stuff as well, ofcourse. ;) I went nuts! I think I spent just under $150.00! :eek: }( :eek: That's okay...I'm making $160.00 workin' a side job with a friend of mine so I consider this purchase already paid for. It's my Christmas present to MYSELF!!!;)
 
Oh, I would love to order some tapes ladies but with my foot I just can't seem to get in that mood. Probably later on I can start buying some more.

Okay ladies...Joey just went down for a nap! I'm gonna get ready to work now! }( I am going to do the work out from my rotation first and then I will do as much coremax as I can according to how long my abs hold out and how long Joey sleeps for!

Kim, maybe I should re-inflate my other ball but leave it a little squishy and try roll-ins on that then! ;)

YEAH Wendy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hooray for you!

I have Cardio Hits and Classics and love them both. I read a thread where someone recommended the two I bought, so I thought okay, I'm doing it ! ;-) I have everything of Cathe's except her first one (step n motion) , Ab Hits and Kickmax. I actually had Kickmax and sold it on ebay, it just wasn't for me. But it's the ONLY one of Cathes that I didn't LOVE!!!!!!

My day has changed and dh is going to work.....so I am going to do tomorrow's workout today since I have the opportunity and tomorrow will be my rest day. I've been doing cleanmax & laundrymax all morning, so CTX upperbody will actually be a break!! ha:p

Jane, I made your salmon club wraps for me and dh for our lunch and we LOVED them!!!!!!!!!! A new fav around here!!! Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Good morning again,
I did CTX Upper Body (the whole thing) and then CTX All Step. Wow, I am fried. I am always amazed at how hard CTX is. I usually break up the upper body work so by the time I got to biceps (last), I was pretty cooked, but somehow made it thru. All Step was a breeze after that. What a fun step workout. It's been a while since I've done it.

I've had the Classics for a long time and have only done one of them once, can't remember which. Guess I need to revisit them.

Hope you girls all enjoy Coremax. The movements I don't like are the corkscrew ones, but I guess they are good for you... I've got wood to stack and vacuuming, mopping and dusting to do too. Hopefully, this afternoon I can ride my horse as he needs it.

Hey ladies,

I started about an hour ago just doing the standing legs of L&G but of course due to foot I had to cut that short. Doing squats and lunges I guess are not in my workout right now. So after dh watches the busch race this afternoon I will do the floor work. Don't think I will get in cardio cause I have both of the my brothers coming over for supper. Cardio will come tomorrow.

Hi girls.

My work out for my rotation has been done for a while now. Gotta do coremax yet but need a cup of java first! :9
My belly was growling up a storm in the middle of PH so I had to eat before I could move on to CM or else it would ALL be done by now.

I gotta do laundrymax too Becky! I started it last night. Got a few loads done but I still have a load in the dryer I need to get folded and put away and I'd also like to wash one more load before I go out tonight....and that's just DH and my laundry...then there is the little guy's which is a whole OTHER task! Isn't housework a pain!? LOL

DH and I are going country dancing! YIPPEE!:+ My best friend is coming down to watch Joey for us. I'm so excited!!!:7
 
Okay, so I did CM 1 & 2 but I omitted the planks in 1 and the roll-ins and pikes in 2. :p I could have kept going but I just wasn't into it. :-( I should have though as I am fiercely behind on ab work this past week! Just didn't get enough in! This week I will do better though! :+ I'll challenge myself sometime this week maybe and see how I do and I'll do the stuff I left out too! lol

So I walked out of my work out room and found everyone sleeping!!! DH and Clyde are on the couch and DS in in his bouncy seat next to them. SOOOO cute! I'm gonna sneak in there and see if I can grab a quick picture w/o anyone waking up!}(

ETA: HA HA! I got 'em!!! I'll post the pics in picture trail later or tomorrow!!!
