O/T question...Essure

I'm going to have the Essure procedure next week. (new sterilization technique.) Has anyone else had this done? If for some reason the Dr. is unable to do the Essure, he will go ahead and do a tubal ligation.

I have some concerns about the tubal. I was wondering what other people's opinions are on tubal ligation.

When I considered having my "tubs tied" I did some research on the Internet and found out that sometimes having your tubes tied can cause tremendous distrubances with your period. Please do your research!

After talking about it a lot, my husband and I decided that it would be much safer for him to have a vasectomy. No threat to his manhood!

On the other hand, many women have had TL without incident.
